Thanks for the overview. How do I cut out parts in between like if there is breathing on each take but I don‘t want that in the comped take at all?
ОтветитьThanks for the sweet content. I did laugh when I say you working on bar 1200+.
ОтветитьThanks so much! I thought I lost the vocals I had recorded but in an instant saw that little triangle drop down and found it!! You are such a great teacher!
ОтветитьThank you, that is so useful and clear! Amazing tutorial :)
Ответитьyou are such a great teacher. thanks for sharing your knowledge <3
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьI love your expalnation and how easy to follow. Am new to Logic and find your instructional pace is excellent. Keep it up.
ОтветитьHi Charles, thank you for the video. Do you know how to get Logic to put new takes into the quick swipe comp view all the time? I have that option selected, but when I record new takes, it just creates a new audio region. Thanks! You rock dude.
Ответитьcan you listen to a previous take while you are recording a new take? for example you have to punch in on word or something similar? You need to hear the previous take.
ОтветитьHey dude thanks for posting this awesome video. I have long avoided this process. Mainly because I do not understand this whole function. But you explained it very well. My only question is when it comes to volume automation. How is that done with all of the multiple takes in the drop down? Do you have to flatten and merge the tracks and then automate once it’s merged? Or will you still have the option to automate with the multiple tracks still in the drop down.
Thanks again man. Cheers.
Thank you so much for this! X
Ответитьthank you for your tutorials!!! they helped so much :')
ОтветитьIs there a way to hear the original take while recording over? Do they need to be separate
ОтветитьDear Charles, can you shift left and right or adjust the speed (time stretch/truncate) of a single comp among other comps in Logic Pro X?
ОтветитьI find Logic amazingly helpful and am learning a lot from your channel! Thank you! So excited especially for comping and quantizing (from another video) since these two used to take so much time when I used to use GarageBand. Thank you!!!
ОтветитьOutstanding as always. And again, Thank You!
ОтветитьDid you ever release this song? I sing this all the time. Great content man!
Ответитьwait how do you do that where one section shows those multiple takes? Please help out.
ОтветитьLost your email address. Your answer was right. Keep up the good work
ОтветитьGreat video, thank you. On a side note: I'm a heterosexual male but you my friend are handsome af
ОтветитьI know it's for "beginners" but I think you landed at a perfect time to showcase how to comp vocals when you a hit click/pop & you kind of just brushed over it lol
ОтветитьHello. Great information. I have a question please. If the recordings are on different tracks can I combine them so I have the opportunity to comp them with this method you show? Or it has to be done on one track?
Ответитьthankyou that was very helpfull, You have done a great job putting these tutorials together
ОтветитьIf I already recorded my vocals onto different tracks, can I convert them into takes so I can comp them the way you're showing? or is it too late?
ОтветитьAs someone who is completely New to Logic, I really liked the way you broke this down. You took your time and explained everything step by step in a really simple and understandable way without throwing around terms that I'm not familiar with lol. Just subbed. Thank you!
ОтветитьThank you so much man and good luck for your career!
ОтветитьHi I was comping some vocals and I could hear them on my headphones before and now I can’t hear it so I don’t know when to start the part that I’m missing I was doing it on the same track
ОтветитьExcellent video. thanks for the clear demo.
Ответитьthank you good sir. You have definitely earned a sub
Ответитьthank you for this tutorial!
ОтветитьYour vocals didn’t cross fade if you noticed
ОтветитьNice job
Ответитьis there any way to apply fades to the comp track without flattening and losing every takes?
I don't want to lose any information so I tried and I managed to apply fades on the composition but after some minute my edits disappear.
Hey Charles, how do you create a new comp? I don't see it on the menu. My workaround is to duplicate and work from there. not a big deal but wondering.
ОтветитьIn your opinion, do you feel that Logic has gotten more competitive with 3rd party plugins like soundtoys since the newest version, the 10.5 update?
ОтветитьReally helpful thank you so much!
ОтветитьThanks for this, really helpful 👍
Ответитьwell spoken good video man
ОтветитьCrispin Glover knows his stuff ;)
ОтветитьCan anyone please tell me why my crossfades aren’t showing up when I’m comping?
