Im starting a sewing club next monday, and this really helped!!
Ответитьwhat do you do when you finish a stitch ???? do you just cut off the thread ?? do you need to tie it in a not like you would do while hand stitching so it doesn't come undone? Thats the only thing I am confused about before I buy a machine. When you cut it off do you need to thread the machine again?
Ответитьthank you, my entire family (but my brother and both of my grandfathers) can sew but i cant, and i want to get into cosplaying, and i cant just rely on mostly store bought stuff, so im planning to make my own, although before i start making my own cosplay i wanna make puffy shorts and modify a shirt to be themed after the pjsk journey outfit, its very pretty, but since both of the original outfits both look unappealing to me, i want to incorporate both of their traits and mix them with my own
ОтветитьI dont have a sewing machine but i can hand sew

ОтветитьI've just bought a sewing machine and I've been really struggling. this is an amazing video!!
ОтветитьYou took me back to middle school. That was decades ago. Surprised how much I remembered! I just loved your vid! Easy and clear. Huge thanks! ❤
ОтветитьUp until this point, I've had a sewing machine sitting at home but was too intimidated to use it. This video has literally given me the confidence to give it a try. Thank you so much xx
ОтветитьThis video is just amazing. You were able to explain everything sooooo well and simple. Lil backstory; i just recently got into the idea of sewing my own clothing, bc everything comes just too small or too short for my size and a few days ago, i got a used (but in very good condition) Singer HD 118 C sewing machine and even tho im so excited to do sew and learn, i was too anxious to really start. But with this video i am so much more motivated again, u took away the fear of not understanding. I will definitely watch your other videos as well. You come off as so kind and nice. Big thank you! <3
ОтветитьI just started and had a lil problem but this video was a total life saver 😮💨😍
ОтветитьJust trying to learn how to sew and use my machine. I've had the machine for three years where it has been staring at me and saying 'don't come near me you clumsy ox, you will only sew your fingers together!' I've decided the sewing machine will not threaten me like that anymore 🤣😂
I've watched a few beginners sewing guides but yours has been the most straightforward and simplest to follow. I feel inspired to go and give that machine what for, rather than come away quivering and thinking wtf went on there? Thank you xx
This is so great!!! Thank you so much for this video!
ОтветитьHow is quality
ОтветитьWhich model janome machine is this please
ОтветитьThank you! My dream is to be a fashion designer when I grow up, Ik I’m young but I will do my best to learn for my own future and your bud really helped with notes :) thxxx❤❤❤
ОтветитьAny kids here?
👇
I appreciate this video alot! Thankyou beautiful❤️
ОтветитьThank you for explaining this in such a succinct and respectful way. I didn't think I would need all this information as a beginner, but it all helps me realize what a beginner can do. I'm tired of people recommending I just make pillowcases. I hope I soon become as confident as you with diving in and making cuts and stitches instead of stressing out over each minor step of the process. You're an inspiration!
ОтветитьThank you so much for this video. This is probably the most helpful video I've found as someone who is brand new to this!
Ответитьawesome :)
ОтветитьI just wanted to say this is such a great tutorial! You make it look easy and make me excited to try all you've shown! Thank you ❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьVery informative and easy to follow
ОтветитьThis video was absolutely helpful in so
Many areas And in A Timely Manner
My fabric does not feed as I’m sewing. I tried different stitches and weight dial but the fabric won’t move on its own. The feed dogs are up and grabbing. What am I doing wrong? Trying to hem a toddler cotton onesie I cut into a shirt.
Ответитьthank you, that was really helpful, you cleared a lotttttttt
ОтветитьThanks for this!! I've been wanting to get into sewing but have had no idea where to start. This makes everything feel a bit less overwhelming <33
ОтветитьThanks!
Ответитьi dont usually comment on videos but this helped me so much with all the things I've struggled with, thankyou :)
ОтветитьLove you video, so inspiring!
ОтветитьYour video makes it look so easy, i failed to keep up with my mom's thorough explanation it felt stressful and complicated
ОтветитьI recently bought a sewing machine and I am grateful I found your channel because I want to teach myself to sew and hopefully with time I will teach my daughter too.
ОтветитьJmmm
ОтветитьThank you for this tutorial, this is exactly what I needed, I am much less intimidated about starting now
ОтветитьAlmosr everytime I back stitch my bobbin as a double string that acts stuck. I have been troubleshooting for a better part of a year. I can't find a solution.
ОтветитьI was wondering if you could recommend a sewing machine.
I’m not a professional I just need to be able to hem my own pants and I need a and overlay function . Maybe you can reccomend ?
I’m 16 A complete beginner to sewing but my mum sews so she will help me. i started for no actual reason other than just a hobby so yeah
ОтветитьWow, this was perfect. As a person that hasn't sewed in a while you really helped refresh my memory with these basics. Great work and thank you so much!
ОтветитьLove this video! Everything is very clearly explained, thanks so much!!
I have not sewed since i was a kid and i want to start getting back into it and this video had everything i was looking for <3
This was super helpful! I haven’t sewn since studying textiles in school, finally got myself a sewing machine and hoping to get creative! Thank you for sharing.
ОтветитьAs someone with ADHD I wish the vocabulary was added slowly when needed as it's mentioned it the conversation. My brain stopped learning them half way through. Also didn't get to see the zig zag :/
The rest is pretty good, thank you!
I've always wanted to take up sewing and learn how to re-size clothing or fix minor damage, so I asked my fiancee for a sewing machine for Christmas and I cannot wait to start going to Michael's or JoAnne Fabrics to shop together.
ОтветитьWatching this with the subtitles on and still being able to learn because you taught at a pace that works with the subtitles. Thank you! Can't wait to make some Christmas presents soon!
ОтветитьSo helpful!
ОтветитьAnd as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (Hebrews 9:27)
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: (Acts 17:30)
For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. (2 Corinthians 7:10)
I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. (Luke 13:5)
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13)
Please I need a sewing machine as a student really need help😢
ОтветитьThreading the machine looks way too complicated
