This game is shit

My game got glitched and 1 heavy machine killed itself🥳😂 The mission became quite easy afterwards✌

I did it in like 30 minutes. Kill the humans first then the corruptors. I WAS level 25 but it didn’t really matter as I went all in in skills for resources and tinkering. I did have a shadow bow but it’s the same thing as it only took a little less time killing the corruptors. WHAT REALLY helped was the freezing sling.

Dang a lot of you people were really struggling. I did it in my 5th try, or in like 30 minutes. Just snipe all the humans without getting caught, then snipe the Corruptor’s weapons. Then just shoot until they die. Or like, bait the corruptors under the logs and into-kill them

I did this completely differently to most folk, which is one of the things I love most about this game. Before the action starts I set 3 or 4 wire traps on the slope up to my position then take the snipers and the cultists out. Then after firing a few tear blast arrows the corrupters run up to your position where they get caught in the traps where you can reduce their health significantly with the sharp shot arrows.

it's a raging game one time i was trying to complete a cauldron band i had school the next day and that Fire Bellowback would not go down so i rage quit and i was screaming

This is easy with the weave armor

If anyone is stuck on this and frustrated like I was: Just change it to story and be done with it in a few minutes :)

I died so many times at one point the game gave me one corruptors 🥲

I hid in a area they couldn’t get to and just kept blasting them with arrows

I’ve been stuck at this mission for 2 years

I was doing this, ans I had one human left, both corrupted were dead, AND THEN I FELL OFF THE CLIFF AND DIED

What worked for me was to just turn around and jump on the higher position behind you where the machines cant get to you and dodge everything. First you snipe as many humans you can using the zoom+slow time perk and when you aggro a machine you 180 and jump up and snipe that mothafucker. For like 10 minutes.


Rememer to kill one machine before you touch the other so you only aggro one at a time.

This part was terribly designed lol, it's so hard, in a not fun way.

I keep getting combo'd out in this game. There's like no cooldown period for getting hit.

I’m so pissed I beat both corrupters but went to get heals from the lands away from the mission when I came back everything reset.

Took me a long time but I just took out each person with the sharpshot bow and then navigated throughout the arena knocking off the corrupters components. Then went in with the fire arrows and sharpshot when I ran out

I don't know why everyone is saying this quest made them quit the game! it was one of the easiest quests so far.
all you have to do is sneak counter-clockwise around the edges of the cliff and kill all the eclipse as you go. then stay up on the cliff near something you can hide behind, and snipe the rest of the humans from up there. I have the skill where I can fire three arrows at once, and I killed each person with one hit. after that, just snipe the corrupters while still hiding. they didn't see me a single time so didn't fire anything at me.
I was really worried about this quest after reading the comments but finished it all on the first try in less than 10 minutes.

So you have to spam fire arrows for 10 minutes to kill enemies, wow Is that funny? Shitty game, dumb combat system.

guys, before the mission change your difficulty to story, once you enter. there is a log pile if you break it it will kill the corrupters instantly, stay on the ledges and kill the cultists quietly, if you stay on the ledges the final corrupter can’t get you so just kill it from there

Just passed this quest. I got lucky cause one of the corrupter was taken out by the logs 😅

i played this section a bunch of times and died so i stopped playing the game for months; but i was bored so i decided to watch a horizon zd walkthrough and a saw this guy shooting hardpoint arrows at the machines’s sensitive places (which you can detect through ur focus) so i did the same thing and one of the machines died under the wood logs stuff (i forgot what theyre called sorry) and for the other i did the same thing the walkthrough guy did, using hardpoint arrows on the machines sensitive places at high ground while also shooting at the enemies below with the same type of arrows and finished the machine under 5-10 minutes. Dont forget about the sniper enemy shooter, and use ur focus to make sure you got everybody. Also use ur zoom while aiming to get a better shot at the machine’s sensitive spots.

This is first story mode game which requires aim like csgo. Nearly impossible with controller.

Also you're level 12 and I'm 13 but an arrow to the head isn't 159 damage I only get 68 and it's ridiculous. Also the weapon wheel I see more weapons but I only have the regular bow the fire bow and the shock wire

Honestly this mission is just stressful af and they literally kill me in 2 hits but you got hit mad times and you're good shit ridiculous🤣

Spent all the ressources and almost 15 min killing humans and one corupter. Then I went to get some wood so I could kill second one. When I came back, everything was respawned... WHAT THE FUCK MAN

I killed all the cultists and after fighting the corrupters for five minutes, I realized my damage output wasn’t feasible. So I turned off the game lol

I eventually got so sick of this part that I just changed the difficulty from easy to story and I could easily beat it as you take practically no damage

that "time to judge you" option, how do you make it appear? i play on pc and went through all the branches in the conversation but seem to be in a loop

I did beat them but there is a human went down the earth and I can't reach him 😓 and he's the last one

It took me 30 min to finally get all the snipers around the edges or the ring. By the time I was on the corrupters for some reason there was only one. It made it easier for me, I think if you wait long enough the corrupters will kill each other. Love this game!

Go to settings and put DIFFICULTY on story (shots make more damage).

After having found that part unreasonably hard, I wanted to look up a video of what I should've done, only to find a guy who sucked even harder than me. One of your corruptors felt so bad for you he committed suicide.

The lumber stacks deals more damage than your normal/fire arrow, lure a machine next to one and shoot down the lumber logs, it’s an instant kill.
