Hello new York 2023 still strong

This is the defining movie of my childhood

I've seen GB since i was very little. I used to have one of the Light Blue GB Tshirt's, i wore that thing out till the design was starting to come off. I also got to wear it in my Kindergarten class picture; i had forgotten to tell my mom it was picture day lol. I have the ecto 1 in my one tattoo of everything i love .

The greatness of this scene is that it emphasizes the undercurrents of unease about what was going to happen at the building. No one knew what was going on, but everyone WAS afraid of what might be coming. And the other thing that made it great, was ECTO-1 being surrounded and escorted by the police. It was like the Ghostbusters were finally being accepted and legitimized by the city, and that the city was in its own way supporting them because of what they stood for, and what they were about to do.

This may sound weird, but I developed my love for Ghostbusters in a supermarket when I was visiting Colorado!

For those who don't know, 550 Central Park West is a real building. Its real-life name is 55 Central Park West. While it has the exact same design from the movie and was built in 1929, the real-life building has a different roof design and 19 floors instead of 22.
