What many of you people that think you are race fans don't understand is that if we allow drivers to just push others off the track like this than we will not see any more overtaking on the outside in the future. It will reduce the amounts of close fighting dramatically. We used to see battles lasting 5-6-7 corners in the past. And this might come back with the return of ground force. But when you are allowed to just push off a car like this even though you very well known he is there we won't have these battles. So for anyone supporting Norris in this case.. Thanks for ruining it for the real race fans 👍 let's hope the FIA keeps their act together and not listen to this bs.

Norris was just taking the normal racing line for that corner. I've lost most of my respect for perez he should've braked a tiny bit and tried to perform the cutback. I'm blaming this on perez

The question is not about who was in the right/ wrong, but about consistency. We have seen this move many times and the FIA have said that the car who has the corner (norris on the racing line and ahead at the apex) has the right to take the line and force them wide. We saw it in France with Gasly on Norris and it was fine. Palmers rant is 100% correct. The rule is wrong/BS, but its the rule that you're allowed to do this. Why did max not get penalised doing this on leclerc? galsy on norris? max on hamilton in spain turn 1, or imola turn 2? because its in the rules! the fact that the same steward allowed it before but doesn't allow it now is just inconsistent
