This roleplay server reminded me why FiveM sucks

RP servers regulate the game to death by actually preventing meaningful RP and giving players "reasons" to run to Admins and cry for mama.
One example:

Servers forbidding "VDM" as an act of killing/injuring other people with a vehicle. I went on the discord and asked what a criminal should do, when a police officer is standing in their way during a chase and they said "drive around him".... wtf?

And that 95% of the RP Servers are the same seemingly stems from the fact that most of them copy their rules from each other, like I've seen rules copy pasted between several different servers word for word.
So the admins clearly have not put in a single thought about building a unique experience.

Or ridiculous rules requireing "shooting calls" to be issued before shooting someone, basically making working as hitman illegal on their servers. It is so sanitized and thus far from reality.

RP servers suck everytime and I don't get why they're so popular. They're always ran by power tripping losers and cucks who do their bidding.

The most ridiculous thing I've seen in their server rules is no GTA driving on a 5M GTA RP roleplay server. That's like not being able to fly fast in a flight simulator, redumbdant. xD

If I ever joined FiveM, I would love a Twisted Metal server with modded cars with Arena War upgrades. Cars that cannot be Arena War vehicles in GTA Online like the Lurcher (Because I'd like to have Shadow) and some other vehicles. As for the map layout. I don't know what that would be.

yeah it can suck, the big issue also being that not just anyone can make a server, it's almost expected that you have EUP (custom clothing) wich is 25 a month, k4mb1 interiors for houses wich is 25 a month and that you have interiors from a decent developer wich is probably also 25 a month, and the server itself is like 50-100 a month, so the buyin fee to get started is 125-175 a month, not even counting the scripts (mods), maps or vehicles, i mean the phone most fivem servers use is 120 dollars outright, it's a huge ripoff all around and unfortunately can't be done unless you got money to burn and an already existing community that will come play

Did they disable the ability to call a taxi or something? That would've been the first thing I did if I couldn't find a car, steal a cab.

As for why you were kicked, it's a RP server. Meaning BS rules against playing the game how it was intended.

It's honestly the main problem with FiveM and also with MTA:SA, it's 95% RP servers, almost none of them do anything interesting with the actual game, it's all just basically VR chat with car physics. But the few servers that actually run different modes are barely populated, so I guess RP is all people want to play, sadly.

FiveM is better then gta5 online gta5 online is just dead and full of trash that griefs just fought one that thought they was the world and that using a armored car and rocket spam was them owning me and cried when i used my nightshark to throw stickys at them and kept EWOing when i shot at them with my nakota free aiming rockets like a 4.53 KD on them level 123 and they was that trash frickin bots

You have to go settings and turn up something to fix the map it’s like something called texture pack

Get zap-hosting & make your own. The minute you kick someone out for not following your RP rule & they do a video to discredit your server then you will understand why a lot of us lock out servers down from randoms who do this.

Try OCRP it’s pretty entertaining as for content I watch a few guys like Bay Area Buggs CivRyan and more it’s seems to have repeat characters and friendly community

Only server i play on FiveM is transport tycoon where you grind and make friends along the way :) lovely people been there since 5 years never regretted it. Maybe give it a fair shot in a vid :D

Rp servers tend to go wrong fast. Don't follow the rules or instructions perfectly or dare to try and do something different, banned. Gta online is better, the cheapo knockoff can't beat the original.
