He is like a father to me. I played this game in 2016 and to this day I am still in shock about what happened to him. I miss him.

I actually think the original time you hear it in the game sounds better. Not because its raw, that too, but because you went through hell and under to finally get that cutscene.

I think the song's title "Helplessly Hoping" is a perfect way to describe Joel's state at that point.

Never touched TLOU 2 again after finish the game. If everything will goes ok, i'll never to do.

The thing that pissed me off about his death is not that he died it’s the fact Abby couldn’t jsut become a bigger person be like although you killed my dad you care for others and saved a strangers life. Or she could’ve made it quick at least since she would’ve be dead if it wasn’t for him and Tommy. The main thing about this game I don’t like is that these main characters act like children and don’t think that forgiveness is ever an option. Abby more of a reason to forgive than Ellie and overall and Ellie got way closer. This just proves to me how dumb revenge can be and how it can blow up in your face. So many people would have still been alive if Abby would’ve just thought more about what she was doing
