I tried this method on esxi 6.7 but it doesn't work.

How do you get back to command line after deleting the password?..i press ESC nothing happened,please help.

Don't do this unless you know what you're doing. I ended up having to do a reinstall anyway. It was actually easier in my case than resetting the password.

And where is the ESXi installled in a USB?

If you wouldn't keep your curser always over the things you write it would be even more fantastic :D
