Day 1 for me, always wanted to learn but never got around to it, bought myself a guitar for my 50th in January and didn't know where to start. Enjoyed the first lesson, how homework time

I love how I used to hate the guitar because it wad forced by school, but now I found the same guitar and wished I could play it like a pro. I blame Bocchi for this.

Day 1 - Got the chords right, fingers are sore, cannot transition between the chords.

Day 2 - Didn't practice 🫣

Day 3 - Ya, it's going well. Still cannot transition between the chords smoothly.

i suddenly had an obsession with playing guittar and I actually loved your didatics

first and ring finger on one single fret is so difficult

guys dont forget to drill finger exercises, you will not have the finger dexterity or strength unless you develop it

Hi andy can you pleasw suggest from where should i taje my guitar in athens or online is also fine

For me the easiest way will be for A chord switching mine Middle and ring finger 1 string down and add pinky to press 2nd string.
If you are wondering about index finger keep it pressed on fret 1 string 3 for both chords it works.

Guy's can give a try, if it's confusing please ignore and keep practicing

Hey @andycrowley. I'm two months in the course and I'm approaching lesson 5. This playlist being put together a year ago still has, at least mine, following. I am supporting it with your website and materials included there. I spend at least 2h a day practicing but being in my 40's I think it takes me longer than it takes to your usual student. Nevertheless, playing guitar gives me a lot of joy and I am very grateful for your help and encouragement in each video.
Once I feel a bit more proficient with the instrument I am planning to sign up for your commercial offering but for now I am focusing on the basics.

Ok I have a question...
I am just watching as of right now and I know my guitar is not tuned at the moment thanks to my son. 🤦🏼‍♀️ This means I have not even accomplished trying to place my fingers properly. I already have concerns. 😂 The issue is I am a small woman with extremely small hands. Like the size of a 7 year old. My pinky itself rivals a 5 year olds and is utterly useless.
Would it even be possible for me to play!?
I work manual labor and work on cars on the side so I am fairly confident I will not be too sore on my finger tips. At least I hope so! I play the piano for fun by ear so I never use my pinky for it either. My goal is to play a song for my Dad before its too late. He taught me some stuff when i was a kid but nothing huge. Music played a big part in my life growing up and I let daily life put my goals on hold. I really would love your imput or if anyone else has insight on this matter! Thank you so much! New sub! ❤️
BTW I have a standard sized acoustic but my Dad did give me a ukulele to learn as well! I need more time! 😂 Thank you!
