The doctor should have immediately told the family members to leave! It could've been something life threatening for that matter and they had no privacy to talk. Extra people don't belong in there, for privacy purposes and because the ER also has other patients. I was at the ICU once with my grandfather and there was a huge family sitting in the hallway having a fiesta. Kids running around, people laughing hysterically. 🤦‍♀️ Staff in hospitals need to tell people to leave when they are in the way.

So this is total BS! No ER would allow all of these people back with the patient and disrupt her care and the care of others! There is usually only 1 maybe 2 family members allowed in the back with the patient! The most definitely would not be allowed to bring in platters of food! This is most definitely made up! Garbage!!
