How to install Windows 11 on M1/M2 Macs using Parallels 18

I am trying to open Mpp files and use MS projects. Can parallels let me use it?

How do u get Apple drivers for parallel. I plug in my iPhone 15 pro max the windows 11 on parallel not show up my iPhone on windows 11.

October 2023 I bought Parallels Pro and installed Windows on a MacBook M1. It installed the Windows Pro by default, and I spent 2 hours with Microsoft support before they saw that I was running Pro while my license was Home, they do not accept the Home key. Now I used the other button and installed Home, but it does not work well, especially the display is limited to 1024. Parallels support told me that Microsoft has not approved Windows 11 Home for M1.

As far as Windows 11 vs Windows 11 Pro activation codes, I accidentally purchased Windows 11 code and it did not work for my Windows 11 Pro install, so I ended up buying the Pro code, waiting for a refund on the non Pro activation code. So make sure you get the right one! Now I can't figure out why I don't see OneDrive icon in my File manager window, only my OneDrive (Mac) icon. I have used Windows 11 Pro OneDrive so I know it works, but I want to delete some files from it and cannot find a way to open it. Do you have any suggestions?

I also installed Steam in Windows and downloaded Day of Defeat a game that was made by Valve but does not run on 64bit computer like Mac. With 8GB of memory and 5 cores I was able to play it on my M2 Mac without any problem other than my rusty game playing skills. That is remarkable.

Good review. I have my doubts about battery life with Parallels installed. Years ago I used it on a 15" MacBook Pro with i9 and with the virtual machine the battery lasted no more than 3 hours while with macOS it was up to 9 hours!
Now I have a MacBook Pro 14" M2 Max with 64Gb RAM and 2Tb SSD I would like to try it but I don't want to create problems with macOS. Can you give me an estimate of battery life with continuous use of Parallels compared to using MacOS alone? I would test Parallels 19. Thanks

It’s a yearly subscription. I tired the one time purchase option before, but every time Mac OS updates, I have to purchase an upgrade for it to work well. I finally bought a Synology NAS and running virtual machine and windows on it.
