Its philosophy but big
ОтветитьRead the question then the passage
ОтветитьMy high school exam is just like this, both for national language and foreign language (English). They deliberaty make the question that long, it already confused you just by reading all those passages 😭. I could never get good score for my own native language 🤣.
Ответитьfun fact: question 3, the one that looks like math, is actually one of the easiest
Ответить3 obviously... It wasn't that hard y'all.
ОтветитьThey practice those problems over and over. It's not from knowledge of concept, necessarily. It's by drill and repetition. Other countries have a different method of learning. Tutoring and learning by tricks shortcuts is valued as much as knowing the theory.
Ответитьthe guy w glasses is so cute!!!!
ОтветитьI feel this way 😭 except my main language is English
Ответить“Question 3 is becoming maths?” Bruh this an English test
Ответитьsentence 3 is the odd one since it is the only one that doesn't mention humour at workplace specifically
it is a high school level of English exercise in Poland if you are taking advanced English, I am used to those exercises ez
the fact native speakers are unable to see it though makes me question their media literacy 😭
The use of grammar is a tier above what people normally achieve post highschool and even college graduates. Most people can't distinguish from legalese and English and that accounts for like 50% of what we do, considering taxes laws etc. I can see why this looks complicated.
ОтветитьIndians get 200 minutes for 200 questions in NEET ug
ОтветитьThey're so funny 😂
ОтветитьGuy with glasses is finee
Ответитьsuddenly math question on english paper will also make me freaks out as hell
and reading a long passage in exam really accurate when you were reading and suddenly didn't understand what it was saying
They can’t understand their own language because it’s written in formal English?
ОтветитьQuestion no. 3 is answer 4, it wasn’t 20 percentage points lower, it was 15
ОтветитьYou know it’s bad when 1. It’s hard for NATIVE English speakers and 2. It’s making them question if they know English 😭 tbh WHAT IS THAT TEST 😭😂❤
ОтветитьYeah if the native speaker took exam of the language they spoke, it will hard for them. Me speaking from experience.
ОтветитьTry cat exam passages from india
Ответитьthese ppl are so funny
ОтветитьWho is that curly blonde guy
ОтветитьActually, the third question isn't that hard. I mean, why were they so nervous???
I didn't get it
Now i understand how my friend who was barely passing became a topper. After going to uk. Ngl i am proud of her.
ОтветитьEnglish in Korea is not for learning english, just for exam. terrible.
ОтветитьThe questions have been translated by babel, of course it is not going to be correct, lost in translation 😂😂😂
ОтветитьThat seemed like comprehensive passage with graphs and analytical data. Right??? In india we get these passages from class like 4th 5th standards and the level of critical thinking increase as we move to higher classes and also ig from class 9th we get 2 comprehensive passages to do and to be honest the one with graphs and data is always the easiest one as compared to the other passage where you need to answer after after reading the passage like thrice that one was always the brainstorming one 😂. But still they were scoring part of the exams. Never struggled this much like these ppl😂😂😂
Ответитьas someone learning japanese in japan, yes, there are unfortunately a lot of math questions
ОтветитьIn my country I had to speak in English at home when I was only 4 years old and we had exams in which it was a must to pass or else you would get humiliated really bad.
Ответитьi understood the sentence pretty much, and im in 8th grade in the us..
ОтветитьI'm with Jaden
ОтветитьSorry, but this actually doesn't make sense. The question itself is already not in correct English.
It should be 'Which of the following sentences' plural.
The passage is missing punctuation and the translation of the word 'subservient' is not a good translation. They translated it to 'helping' or 'being of help,' which is a rough translation of the word subservient, but not comprehensive.
This entire question is made to be confusing and doesn't help to teach or test English skills.
I think it's embarrassing.
The way this paragraph is written is giving me a headache. The sentences are very lengthy and not well structured. It's like trying to say a simple thing in a very complecated manner just to confuse those that are reading. It's like learning some formal words from a dictionary but never actually learning how to use them.
ОтветитьStill on question 1 always makes me laugh
ОтветитьIt's kind of similar to the NECO exams we take in africa
ОтветитьFor some reason, I get it and I’m not Korean?
ОтветитьI would like to see your reaction when you see the Turkish exam YKS
ОтветитьSeriously.. this is really funny. 😂😂
ОтветитьI've tried some of these questions before, it's not a language proficiency test at all imo, it's a reading comprehension test with the added layer of it being in your second language. Which, sure, requires language skills to figure out what they're saying. But as the video shows, having perfect english is not enough to understand the questions, it's testing your ability to parse through (overly complicated) academic writing. Which, i assume the boys in the vid are still teenagers? And thus it's pretty understandable that they're not used to this kind of overcomplicated academic test. And knowing a lot of complicated words doesn't make you actually fluent in a language either? Conversational skills and oral presentation skills will be much more important for getting fluent than the ability to read dense texts. I feel really bad for the korean teens having to take this tests, so much suffering and in the end it's not even a good reflection of your actual english proficiency?
ОтветитьEither we're too dumb or Korea is just making things ridiculously difficult for no reason. 😅
Ответить😅this is absolutely silly I think I would flunk
ОтветитьIf they can’t answer then they expect Koreans do get them all right?? Crazy!!!
Ответитьits so easy exam as a indian
ОтветитьThis is the ridiculous Korean exam for nothing.
ОтветитьAnother case of asian low standards is western's high standard
ОтветитьI read the question one i think the answer is 3. Don't know for sure tho 😂
ОтветитьQ1=2 , Q3=4
ОтветитьI paused it to read it… it’s definitely not easy to understand lol 😂 English is the only language I speak 😂
Ответить"it's becoming math" the reality of asian language exam. They had me counting the time and kilometres in my beginner english and mandarin exams
Ответить
