For me, it feels frustrating because I have a hard time finding tutorials on the basic stuff like neutral, timing, punishment etc. Feels harder to find info unless I join a discord ig.
ОтветитьPeople get into this for different reasons, but having fun is the most important.I used to compete profiessionally ten years ago, then I took it really serios to be the best. Nowadays I play to slowly improve and have fun. It's really the greatest fighting game ever. It' s about the mindgame/parries that makes this game so intruiging. If you can soulread your opponent you will almost always win, regardless of chara. This is an aspect that other SF games doesn't quite have, or at last not to that extent. This game is so deep that red parries is the standard. Parrying is normal now in high level play, as well as reversal everything. And people are finding new stuff everyday. New stuff every day to. 25 year old game. It's quite amazing that 25 years after It's release it still have a broad gamerbase and is still played competitivly.
Just a few months ago I figured out a 100 procent way to parry Chuns cr mk into super. Parry the low forward, don't wait to see if she uses super or no, just press cr LP, then cr mk. If Chun activates she will get hit by your cr lp into dp/super. If she doesn't activate ken will first thorow out cr LP then the cr mk will connect into super. Also not many people know this but Akuma can karagrab you and throw you backwards. Oh,and Elena, if she ever does Rhino horn. Doo't block, just holding down, not downback, just down and she will land infront of you free to get punished. I have so many bits and pieces that even high level players don't know about as i'm sure they do me since they beat mw haha, but it's all fun anyways. Love finding new things. Think i'm gonna put some effort into mechanics and oractice my execution. Because that's the biggest gap between me and the top ken players. They use all the confirm. And they all kara srk eveeytime.
It's the most non street fighter game.
ОтветитьAkuma's taunt increases his damage/stun output for the next move. Also, third strike is not veryveryveryvery strict with inputs. You just need to get used to inputting the correct motions.
Also, my personal tip: Learn how to perform mixups with ANY character. It can make for a strong offense.
Thanks, my dude! These were a big help :) - leifo
Ответитьi've played on sf6, sf5 and sf4. i got 3rd strike on fightcade and it was surprising how hard it was to link a jumping hard kick into a crouching hard kick. and with cancels you need to be really fast. my first few matches i played on fightcade i did poorly, though on one round i got my opponents health bar low.
edit: and if anyone knows how to do a crouching normal into a shoryuken then can you reply please? from sf4 onwards you can do down-forward, down then down-forward and punch to do a dp but that isn't in the older games? is there a special technique, or do i just have to do the dp input really quickly?
Burst bait 😊
ОтветитьNice tips! 3rd strike is one of my all time favs!
ОтветитьJokes on them idk how to parry, so they wont know if ima parry or not LOL
ОтветитьI ain't og street fighter but I started to play this off the switch and now it's a challenge I found fun of in the nearby arcade dt😄🕹️
ОтветитьI can’t do combos to save my life, BUT I WISH SOMEONE WOULD JUMP IN ON ME
ОтветитьIf you can parry everything, do it. Because you can.
ОтветитьTonight i have been playing Street fighter 3 with a friend, we started 2 days ago, and Guess what part of this video i didnt watch before playing... The last one, i have been salty.
Please don't forget guys it's just a video game, have fun.
Hey how do you get that color for ken
Ответить"Spread love & parry the bullshit." Nice😎
ОтветитьI know this is a old video but the video says 5 tips while Ken holding 2 fingers up lol just joking
ОтветитьCan’t do the last step when you have to go agents the guy who has played 10000 hours
ОтветитьThank yooooo
Ответить10/10 3s guides on yt appreciate this
Ответитьwhy does akuma's air fireballs change animation? is there two different ones?
ОтветитьWhat do you mean the taunts are a "BM" move?
ОтветитьReally feeling the music you've used here, what tracks did you use?
ОтветитьI like how the turbo/speed element in SF games up to this point was set aside for a different experience, and the emphasis was on rhythm and timing with smooth animation where you could "feel" the weight of the character as they threw their weight and momentum around on the screen. It's very satisfying to execute a combo on an opponent that feels like a smooth and graceful swing of a bat dinging a clean homerun out of the park.
ОтветитьBro I'm a beginner. I don't even know how to parry at all.
ОтветитьI think super turbo is way more strict bro like the vid gg
ОтветитьFirst tip:
Dont parry Everything
I cant even Parry anything. 😭
I think this guide is for 3rd Strike beginners. Not for ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS.
Should I lab this game more? I cant even beat the Arcade mode. I cant even perform even the most basic 3 hit combos consistently.
Any tips for absolute noobs like me?
I'm playing Ryu as I have in Alpha 3 should I be switching to Ken? I dont plan on playing competitively as there is no Third Strike scene in our country. But I wanna enjoy the game in any way I can.
Constantly getting my ass kicked by the AI is no fun at all.
RULE ONE make sure you have a good working controller don't have one lag in your controller
ОтветитьI've just started playing on Fightcade and I get bettered all the time but I love the game and i'm sticking with it. The input system is frustrating at times but I like that it has to be precise. I love the challenge
ОтветитьSounds like another black guy mumbling about fighting games.
ОтветитьGlad i ran into this channel. Good tips! Spread love and parry the bullshit
ОтветитьPLAY DEFENSIVELY!!!!
ОтветитьHardest thing about 3rd is all the head games. Best SF for sure!
ОтветитьWhat's B.M ? all I know bm is baby mom or bowl movement
ОтветитьThird Strike, at least to anything before it, feels more complicated to me. You have a ton of moves, dashing, multiple specials per character and the parrying system is do or die. Some people just absorb anything you throw at them, projectiles or even melee and raise their special bar quicker or punish you for attempting to attack. Not trying to play like that will get you done for and attempting, but not accomplishing the parries, will also be your downfall.
ОтветитьConfucius said, ."HE WHO ANGERS YOU OWNS YOU." Something to think about, haha 666 likes, now 667. Starting to do some gameplay videos on my channel too, kind of alternative you could say.
ОтветитьI’m just afraid of the people on fightcade I know they’ve been playing for years and are gonna wash me.
ОтветитьMan I'm planning on actually just playing third strike serious so I hope this works.
Regardless thanks for the vid.
I used to play sf2a and the inputs in 3rd strike are way harder tbh
ОтветитьI’m just getting into this game and I can’t believe how amazing it plays in 2022, Has me taking a long break from GGS.
Ответитьthank you for making this video.
ОтветитьGreat insightful & informative video ✌️
Ответить#3 100%. I bought a cabinet and have been playing on original hardware. Coming from SFV is a shock. Because in older games. Half Circle means HALF CIRCLE. Not none of this "close enough" shit. SF4 and 5 let you get away with.
Ответитьediting is on point!
ОтветитьI am fairly decent playing the game since 1999. But when i fight someone who is damn good with Urien , yun , yang and ken...it is so difficult to deal with at higher levels of play. When i lose 1 or 2 games in fighcade..i just say GG and i am outta there. Those characters made me feel like a noob and so shitty.
ОтветитьThese are some great tips but execution is going to be a difficult one to pull off on these little joy-cons...
ОтветитьGreat video I've been playing third strike for like 2 years now and I can hardly parry lol
ОтветитьBro I need advice who should I play I already play q and akuma I'm decent do you know any starters?
Ответить
