The quiet part is that we have run out of customers for US10 & UST. The FED can’t have a failed auction or the mess will be exponential. BRICS+12 now 40 in waiting is due to the world revolt against US use of sanctions as a weapon of war.

A healthy market can do just fine with interest rates where they are! Lowering rates now is a selfish political stunt that also panders to the rich. Will they just forget about the best interest of most people? This market is being propped up by all the money the government has poured into it! This is unsustainable! Let it fall and regroup on ITS OWN! And put that $167 billion in forgiven student loans BACK ON THE PEOPLE that borrowed the money! A political stunt NOT FAIR to everybody else! Why don't we just end ALL student loans and get the government OUT of colleges! Then college tuitions would PLUMMIT and people could much more easily afford college with just some help if necessary from bank loans and family.

Retired from an entire career in retail and I get frustrated with people comparing sales as a gauge to a company's success. In a very high inflation landscape sales isn't a monitor for success. It's unites sold. When companies are showing high profits and cutting payroll, they move less unites. This is what needs more focus.
