I come back to this song time and time again, to think of better times, to enjoy the music, to just have a piece of peace. However, you put a lot of effort into making a compelling video to go along with the song. This, I feel is very cool. Thanks for that, man. I hadn’t seen the extended version of this cutscene. So to see the music continue to swell past what I was familiar with along with new footage to go with it was a magical experience that I can’t describe.

Even before Endwalker dropped I couldn't listen to this song without tearing up. It's all about facing your imminent death and realizing that there's NOTHING you can do to stop it

I know this song has a lot of meaning to FFXIV's rebirth specifically, but I also feel like it's a song that tells a universal truth. It doesn't promise anything grand like an afterlife or a reward for suffering and toil. It only promises that we will live, die, and know. You could say that's not much of an Answer, but it's honest and it leaves it up to us to make of our short lives what we can. It's literally a promise to every single person regardless of station or creed. It's a universal hymn for the human race.

Imagine if WoW had 1/10th the effort SE put into this one song.

I didn’t pay much attention to this song at first cause you know gotta move on to the next expansion but this song does set the tone for the rest of your journey through. Finding answers, realizing your meaning and purpose and so on. Life is an endless journey of questions and answers and more questions.

Listening to this song after that Venat cutscene... I just can't.

The absolute beauty and genious of already having the entire thing planned out from this early on.
I guarantee you they have the same intentions with the line "to begin, we first must see the end" that's repeating in shadowbringer/endwalker.

Man, I can´t even put into words how much this resonates with me. Genuinely thinking about putting these words into ink someweher on me.

A few days ago I gave up on believing that I would clear this ultimate. This is what I would imagine what the unleashing of Ancalagon the Black Morgoth's greatest and largest dragon probably would have been like at the end of the War of Wrath. When he was unleashed he single handedly driven a majority of the Great Host of the Valar back and must have destoryed alot of landmass during his short reign of rampaging across the skies like a unrestrained calamity.

This song will always give me goosebumbs. It is easily one of the best themes FF14 has to offer. Also this is what separates generic video game music with real compositions. Imagine fighting a god dragon and have this theme. Right, you dont have to imagine, it's in the game.
