What a monster. Imagine if he had political power. Scary AF
ОтветитьYou went way too soft on this guy.
ОтветитьBad man
ОтветитьNothing i want to hear from that grifter
ОтветитьAmerican accents are so smooth
ОтветитьREDEMPTION?
ОтветитьDidn't bring up how he harrassed everyone and tried to destroy their lives wow
He doesn't deserve redemption like this video dont deserve any attention. You are all psychopaths.
Redemption? This guy gaslighted the world for decades and tried to destroy the lives of the people closest to him for his own gain. There is no redemption.
Ответитьgreg lamond does not have kind words for him. i saw podcast with him recently. i noticed lance didnt mention him much maybe once in this interview
ОтветитьHe’s still one of the most compelling interviews in sports because of his relentless brashness and courage. He did win all of those races in an era when over 90% of pro cyclists were doping. As Armstrong says, it is ludicrous for the Tour to say nobody won. Of course he won, and he was clearly the best of his era regardless how tainted it was. Finally, I have been to Mellow Johnies in Austin several times and it is the coolest bike store ever.
ОтветитьUnless Lance gives back all the money he fraudulently pocketed through lying and compensated all the lives/careers he tried to destroy, there is no redemption. He obviously is a talker, and he is still a talker, but where it counts, he continues to fail the test. Actions speak the loudest. In Lance's case, the lack of action unless court ordered.
ОтветитьWe forget that he denied it so vehemently, and then even went after others who questioned him. He was 30 something years old not 15 years old. Good that the world forgives, and certainly a massively talented rider, and also that they were all at it, but it's important that he is considered as someone not to be trusted. Or maybe we should just stop following top professional sports people.
ОтветитьI really can't judge the guy. I met him 3X while riding in Topanga Canyon, back around 2005-2006 when he was dating Sheryl Crow. He was always nice to me, stopping to be sure I was o.k., had enough water, etc. As for those who want to continue to see him as a perpetual "bad" guy, I say who died and made you God? How would you respond when faced w/the pressure of having to bring in millions for your team, or going home w/nothing. Keep in mind if you're not winning enough times, you're off the team...and then how do you support yourself and your family? The sports scene is always about "The Almighty Buck" and how much of it you can bring in... especially for the powers that be. Keeping a cycling team is expensive for the owners/sponsors. You better be bringing in the money. I personally wish Lance the best in his future. I think he's been put through the ringer enough.
ОтветитьLance is amazing.. i walk out of the block and see 100s of people who are bigger cheaters than him
ОтветитьLance is just sorry he got caught. He’s pretty much a sociopath with little conscience. I don’t feel he has ever truly come clean in terms of total truth. He still lies to us and himself. Much harder questions could’ve been asked here. He still insists doping made it a level playing field, this is not the case. He never would’ve won 7 tours without doping. His physiology benefitted hugely by doping, he had the best drugs and best doctors. Others less so. Until he’s honest in full he has no redemption. Compare him to Tyler Hamilton and you’ll see what redemption looks like.
ОтветитьLance still the man
ОтветитьThanks Lance, this interview gave me nuance that filled in the holes
ОтветитьCharismatic narcissist. He has an art to charm people, but I don't buy into his duplicity. He crashed people ruthlessly, who attempted to expose him.
ОтветитьYeah he cheated but so did everyone else. Take the drugs away and he is still the best - a natural. Why did Frankie’s wife feel she needed to spill the beans. She wasn’t in the sport. The sport used him as an example. They wanted to take down the guy with 7 titles.
ОтветитьThere's no "redemption" for sanyone who sold their soul.
ОтветитьDon't know/understand why he has to curse like this. Can no one speak intelligent and clean anymore???
ОтветитьLance changed my life, in a good way. I will always support him… but he is a total dick, and I’m quite aware of that.
ОтветитьRedemption? lol AI comments all the way down.
ОтветитьStill the best ever! The most mentally strong athlete ever!
ОтветитьI felt that he is a man of courage and that he took the fault of his team mates that also doped...he simply took the fault for others
ОтветитьLance was an incredible world champion!
Every single competitive rider in the peloton used EPO.
Most still do.
Yeah, he made some mistakes … and there was an obvious Code of Silence … but unless you rode clean back then, the pipe down loser.
I'm looking for the moment he talks about Carlos Sastre winning the Tour de France being the reason he came back in 2009. Do you guys can help me? Thanks!!
ОтветитьHe's rich, and dedicated to winning. He's worked very, very hard to win, he's smart, and a master manipulator. He's also a member of the top echelon bike racers he's called "stone-cold killers" when it comes to team politics and personal relationships. He's also worked to promote cancer awareness and is both a good guy and a bad guy. I don't think any one label applies to Lance Armstrong unless maybe it's "dynamic" or "driven".
ОтветитьIf he didn’t get caught…
ОтветитьNo redemption. Dbag can’t fly straight.
ОтветитьNo matter what everyone thinks and says about Lance. Millions of people around the world have enjoyed him and his achievements. May he prosper and stay healthy.
Ответитьanyone can break the rules, take drugs, make millons of dollars, and get caught. where's the apology....instead of admitting the crimes he committed he's the victim......seen this anywhere else ???....$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
ОтветитьTreated people like shit to hide his cheating.
ОтветитьWhat redemption? He hasn’t changed.
ОтветитьIt’s interesting that Lance doesn’t believe that people are relieved to get a lie of their chest for real.
ОтветитьWhat Lance did was despicable. We all deserve second chances and a shot at redemption. I truly hope he has changed for the better but we’ll see.
Ответитьcoping with doping is just part of that sport
ОтветитьThe Marketing Superman of Cycling! Only in America. Nevertheless fantastic story!
ОтветитьHe's still as narcissistic as ever. It's unbelievable. Well it's clear now that nothing will ever shame or humble him. And that no one ever ever should trust that man. Not his wife, not his kids, not friends, investors...no one. He's incapable of being honest. Pathological.
ОтветитьCHEATER
ОтветитьOne of the best lance interviews around, what an absolute inspiration he is to have gone though the downfall of part 1 of his life to now be in the situation where he’s in now is mind blowing ….. some other mere mortals wouldn’t be on this earth after what he’s been through
ОтветитьTelling lies about and trying to ruin Greg Lemond means he can never be forgiven.
ОтветитьJuan Pelota.
ОтветитьThese are all strokes on the canvas… I love my life! Boom
ОтветитьLance is the GOAT!! The best ever!
ОтветитьLance is an incredible person.
ОтветитьNo redemption for that maggot
ОтветитьI don’t know…he may have been the greatest..and a big hero for Cancer awareness…but I don’t think he feels any guilt…or remorse…and he doesn’t have to! …some people are wired to stay focused on accomplishments..he does it now in business…he doesn’t care about what happened…he does care that he got caught…I didn’t see any remorse…but I shouldn’t expect any…he is a narcissist…but a legend at the same time…in parts of the interview where he is asked about remorse he responds with a very neutral tone..not denying and not accepting…..but when asked about himself he can’t stop talking… the guy doesn’t care
ОтветитьPeople do change ! I actually loved Lance when he was a cunt ! … He’s absolutely full circle, genuinely a nice guy now and I still love him ! 👍
Ответить
