I've had mine for a year now and still like it except for not being able to handle the highway. Did you the do snorkel delete I seen, just looking to push a little more out of it without a major change.
ОтветитьI live in downtown Portland. Almost all of my commuting is around the neighborhood but also like to visit friends and family in gresham. This would be my first motorcycle. And i only weigh 132lbs. Would i still have trouble getting on i84, i5 or the 405 just to get around the city you think?
ОтветитьWho cares how much a bike cost. If u want to get a bike that goes only 90miles so what. It's yours
ОтветитьThank you for your honest input. I've been doing a lot of research on this bike glad I came across your video because I was more working on a highway bike to go from town to town. Not sure if this would be powerful enough and Im not trying to waste my money lol 💯
Ответить200 cc 😅
ОтветитьUse an uma racing coil, Ngk laser iridium spark plug ,
Bmc air filter of Honda Hornet,
Aftermarket free-flowing exhaust,
You need to fit a bigger carburetor use
Mikuni racing carburetor pwk 32mm
Jet pin size 122 and 135
You need to tune the aftermarket carburetor, be patient throughout the process of tuning, my kpr hit 100 mph
The KPM is for the inner city commuter where the speed limit is 50-55mph at most. That is where it shines. While it can hit 70mph, its not its comfort zone of operation. As long as you know what to expect, it can be a great beginner bike.
ОтветитьBe great if they made big bores for the KPM, with a high comp piston youd pull some more ponies out of it. I cant find any threads with people who have done this.
ОтветитьJust hit 1000 on my KPR today, only problem I had was a baffle in an aftermarket exhaust coming out. Bike is super fun and it feels like you’re riding on air tbh because it’s so light and it can be thrown into corners. Also did an hour highway ride and it wasn’t bad, tucking up in behind the screen helps with the wind a lot and gives another mph or 2. Love to see you grab a KPR I’m keeping mine probably forever as a commuter because of the gas mileage
ОтветитьWhile I’m with you on your decision, one thing I’ve learned over my years of motors: you don’t have to feel bad for pushing a motor to its absolute maximum limit. The only thing that hurts a motor is not using it at all, or using it with bad oil.
ОтветитьI know the feeling. About to sell mine also. I put in a lot of work to make the resource thread, and was happy to gather all the information everyone has in one spot, but riding with the throttle pegged and in full tuck just to make 65-70 mph gets old. Lol. It's a great city bike, but terrible if you live in an area that averages 55-60 mph roads.
ОтветитьThis is cheaper than a from and I've been considering a grom. I wonder if I should get it? Never risen motorcycle. I'm just scared if something goes wrong with it I wond be able to find parts or someone to help
ОтветитьAlso I need some vids on the Benelli!! Lol I’ve seen like 2 people in America own the 600. I’m going to be doing some upgrades to the bike soon once I find a good source for parts (no dealer near me)
ОтветитьFellow Tnt600 rider here. My first bike and honestly have no reason to upgrade. I am however looking at the KPM as a secondary bike for around town/bike for friends to ride.
ОтветитьIt’s all Honda not Kawasaki…. They don’t make kawi.
ОтветитьYou spent 6k on a Benelli? Bruh….
ОтветитьThank you so much for your thoughts and feedback on the KPM 200. It has been very helpful. I will be getting mine very soon.
ОтветитьThe Lifan KPM200 looks like a great bike. I wish they made it with a larger engine.
Your review was really good. I also weigh 240lbs so you definitely put it into perspective on how fast it would go.
My normal everyday rider is a Harley touring bike, but smaller nimble bikes are fun to whip around and carve up the road.
Damn, for so reason I thought you had a KPR200. I was wondering why yours looked different than the others I seen...... lol
ОтветитьYour review was really good. Probably I'm getting a 2022 second hand for this video! Greeting from Mexico brother🇲🇽
ОтветитьI sold mine for the same exact reason. I work about 26 miles away from where I live and the speed limit was at the peak of what the bike could put out. I actually bought your exhaust and did some other mods to help, but it just wasn’t enough. It was a great bike, just didn’t work for what I needed it for. Next is probably gonna be a Suzuki SV 650
ОтветитьThe same thing happens with cars man. Pushing any car to its limits can be fun, but only a few cars can be truly pushed to their limits without legal problems.
ОтветитьIt's 17hp and that maybe I flated. It feels like 10hp. Those Beneli TNT 600 is 2 parallel twins connected. They vibrate so bad at highway speeds or when you get on it. Bite the bullet and get a used Japanese bike if you are trying to save money. The ninja 650 is a great option for a entry level sport bike.
ОтветитьIf this was my only bike it would last a week. This bike is very slow but I turned mine into a Scrambler so I mostly ride it off road. It is my 3rd bike in the stable but I do ride it often because it's so easy to take out. I have 2 much larger bikes that I take on road trips. So as a back up bike to put around on its great. I did develop an oil leak from the shifter post that exits the engine and my kick stand spring bracket broke off the first time I rode it plus at some point my radiator overfill cap fell off and I lost it. It's typical Chinese they don't really make quality stuff.
ОтветитьI recently order this bike from Orion Powersports online. When it arrived it was immediately giving a check engine light flash indicator related to the oxygen sensor. The battle that I'm having now is getting parts to do the repair myself. The downside is the distributor will only send parts to an authorized dealer, and the closes one to me is 98 miles. It's a fun bike to ride, but if parts start going bad, you may find yourself between a rock and a hard play like me.
ОтветитьWhat you're talking about power is exactly why I chose a Ninja 400 instead of a 600 or 650. Even on the N400, I find myself constantly being at 60MPH in 35 zones, because 60MPH seems like the speed the bike is most comfortable hovering at.
Most of my commute is in the city. For me, something with 70HP+ would just be overkill. I've found that the 400 is plenty fast up to 80MPH, and can easily reach 100 from there. For regular highway riding (responsible highway riding), the 400 or something like a Yamaha R3 is about the most I'd need.
I am keeping mine. I did a major mod and will be keeping it
ОтветитьBought a KPM 200 and ended up with the exact same thought. I love everything about the bike, I just wish it had more guts at highway speeds. 25 HP and lower RPM at 75.. We'll see what the V4 does.
ОтветитьWill you still be selling the exhaust for it?
ОтветитьI’ve been thinking of getting the KPM200, Yamaha MT03, or the Benelli 302S, any suggestions as to which one to get or what your opinion?
ОтветитьCurrent owner of this wonderful bike! She's been down, we've both healed together, and she still rides sooo great. I had already been wanting a bigger bike and had her listed for sale when I went down and now don't think I'll ever part with her and will just have a second bike in the future. Echoing that she's a great learner bike, and a great city bike. Love this bike 💖 ✌🏻
ОтветитьKpx 250 over here so far I love it only got 25 miles on her though still learning
ОтветитьJust get a wet nitrous setup for a kpm 👀 send that piston to the moon
ОтветитьHAH! I Hungout with the woman who bought the bike from you after you got me to buy mine really, such a small world! I've been riding, 1500 miles sofar.
ОтветитьGood stuff as always, it blows my mind that I stumbled across your channel just looking for Lifan content and we happen to be from the same county and we live in the same city now, I doubt I'll unsubscribe anytime soon, especially since I look forward to the vids you seem to have lined up
ОтветитьOh darn, sorry to see the KPM go. It’s funny, I was searching for vids on it the other day and was wondering why you hadn’t posted a vid on it for a while.
I’ve seen in fb groups about sprocket changes and their respective owners posting vids of 80-85mph+ Red lining of course or close as can be; did you ever consider the same?
Safe ridin’! 👊
