Wow I wish I got that good of gas mileage in my LC200. Although I am at 6800 lbs empty and 7800 lbs fully loaded😬 Great review!!
Ответитьcan you lay out in the back of that truck?... how much space length-wise. My wife is shorter and I'm only 6' tall but tend to just sleep on my back,.. not curled up.
ОтветитьGreat video
Own a 97 LX450 and 01 470. SOLID
We had a 100 Series LC and regret selling it in 2017. I was seriously considering putting a deposit on a 2024 LC, but after watching this video, I need to take a second look at buying a 200 series LC. Thanks for sharing all the details on your build and your video!
Ответитьdidnyou delete the 2nd row seats?
ОтветитьAren’t Bears more now in 2023 than ever before in modern times the huge problem especially camping and Overlanding? There have been multiple multiple bear attacks all over the country and bear country and there is nothing you can do about it if it happens. Bear spray guns Only work minimally. Do you guys ever worry about bears? Fantastic track and adventure channel. Thank you for sharing.
ОтветитьI’ve heard that front steel bumpers are extremely unsafe because they can cave into the footwell in the event of a severe accident. I am not sure about the specifics of your front bumper, but what are your thoughts on that? One of the resources i heard this from was John Cadogan.
Ответить👍👍❤
ОтветитьI really love this. In a world of overbuilt, over complicated overland setups, this is a breath of fresh air. Simple and functional. The fact that you guys live out of this truck just goes to show that most of don't need half the stuff we have strapped to our trucks :). Every time I think I need another gadget, I just need to come back and watch this again. Thank you!
ОтветитьI love the rear " slider" so much and want one for my 200! 😍 It drives me nuts how basically every rear bumper just has a ton of unless metal hanging down just to keep the same super low body line and never solves the problem just adds weight and something to drag
ОтветитьThis is so well thought out. Well done.
ОтветитьI have this exact same Land Cruiser. 2008 200 series, got it with 140k miles last year. Im in the process of building something like this.
ОтветитьI love hiking mountain, biking or traveling currently setting up my overlander. How do I get a job like yours? 😊
Ответитьwhat was the mileage when you bought ir?
ОтветитьI am definitely sold on my 100 series, but after seeing what all you've done to your 200, I have zero qualms with getting a 200 series in the future.
Ответить2 weeks is about or maximum before we need a resupply, longer than that and we're eating ramen noodles. Once the real food runs out we're looking for a grocery to resupply groceries and drinking water. Ya'll are masters at living in a small space. Love your 200. It gets better mileage than our Tacoma even when we're not towing the teardrop!
ОтветитьYour bed looks pretty unleveled due the fridge, do you guys sleep like that?
ОтветитьSo cool guys.. One of my Landcruisers is a 100 series. 200 is definitely as step up
ОтветитьI'm in line to get the new LC250 but part of me knows getting an LC200 for less would be economically wiser. Thanks for the video.
ОтветитьDid you find that your Campteq top on Goose leaked?
ОтветитьSimple and smart. Nice!
ОтветитьLove the minimalist bumpers (“sliders”). Perfect compromise between no protection and a ton of steel.
ОтветитьWhy would you not take a 200 series around the world? Which Toyota would you take? Thanks
ОтветитьAwesome walk through! I'd love to hear more about what you do for work, and maybe how to get into it as well.
ОтветитьReally enjoyed the commentary at the end.
I have a very similar build on the outside and I use it nearly exactly as you described. 75-80mph from Louisiana to Moab and did Fins N Things in comfort.
Haven’t camped in it yet but I really appreciate the way y’all have it laid out. Big thumbs up! 👍🏼👍🏼
Great video guys!
Experts in every field know how to keep things simple. Your 200 series build clearly shows your years of experience. Thanks for the tour!
Awesome! Thanks for the updated walkaround! Been contemplating buying bumpers or doing the bumper sliders. I guess it all comes down what the mission calls for.
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьFind me an 08 for $20,000-$25,000 and I will pay you a finders fee 🙄
ОтветитьThe basic set up, hands down the best one we had too. No, its not a house on wheels, But is a comfortable bed on wheels. At the end thats what keeps you fresh on the road, a good sleep. Shower is second, but a river, lake can help. Cheers guys!
ОтветитьAwesome build
ОтветитьSpot on guys. I enjoyed this episode
ОтветитьIf you can fit it, used donaldson powercore air cleaners (the same filters used for the diesel LC dusting fix) can be found at junkyards, ebay, and truck supply retailers. The 06-07 GM duramax 6.6 trucks came with a donaldson air cleaner with a cyclonic-type pre-cleaner.
ОтветитьI think its funny how almost always the rtt vs swag vs poptop vs ground tent conversations never include the most obvious, cheapest and effective solution. The full time bed in the back. So much good info at the end of this video!
ОтветитьRunning lean and mean. The experience shows with the minimalist build. Thanks for the update.
ОтветитьI love my window nets, but I did discovery recently that they do NOT filter out sand. oh man, so much sand.
ОтветитьThe break down at the end was great!
ОтветитьI would love a more in depth review on the dobi IMS. I'm looking at those or the new ARB mid range shocks for the 80.
ОтветитьPoor Kelsey, let her take a water break 😂
ОтветитьThat was a super satisfying watch guys. I'm a total tragic for a smartly packed no build stock wagon camper.
