In the late 90’s when prices were high everyone jumped on the bandwagon and planted almonds everywhere, well if you create too much product then you drive the price down…duh…and now with inflation…good luck…maybe go back to growing fruit trees like peaches like the valley used to be. Almond trees made everyone’s allergies go crazy after all those trees were planted 🤧😷

I understand it takes 1 gallon of water to produce 1 almond.
In a State that has been dealing with drought I am not sure this is the best use of water? Let another State with more water grow almonds.
