Is it necessary to twist the wire strands into a pigtail before installing them in the connector? Or should I leave them straight (as is) immediately after removing the insulation?

i was curious if one can secure these connectors down to wood with maybe a backing plate, I need to use a 5 way to connect grounds in an electric guitar cavity and an inline to connect the positives. I would like to secure these down in the body cavity so as to not move around. Some of the wiring has to be channeled down the middle. I saw you used some gray backing plates would those work and where do you get them? Thanks

Hi Guys, where do I get the accessory plate from that is used to mount the carrier plate into the light box. Is there a part number? Common electrical trade counters don’t seem to stock the accessory! Thanks

Ya don’t understand FREEDOM units? Maybe we don’t understand this Commie MM nonsense! In all seriousness, how are these when working live?

Could anyone tell me the wago product number for the WAGO MOUNTING CARRIER for the light junction box shown on this video. Is it 221-2533 or 221-2523?
Does that include the click in/interface piece which clicks into the wago junction box light 207-3303?

Thanks

I worked for an electrical company and they about had a stroke and all but threatened to fire me when i brought up wago connectors instead of wire nuts. They didn't wanna hear how much time we could save. Wagos for these "old school" electricans is a very very dirty word

Easy solution is to use Hellerman Tyton crimps, waterproof ones are best as the most reliable connection
