Yes it answered lots of questions for me Dr. Karam. You always make it easy to understand what you are telling us. I really never understood fat transfer because I have only thought about the Vertical Restore but don't think I need that much surgery. This is something I can do a bit of homework on before I fully decide.

We need to know more about the cons of facial fat transfer. One of the fat grafting Facebook support groups have members who have developed unevenness, lumps and bumps months and years later. One lady developed lumps 4 years later.
So it seems that this procedure could have negative effects further down the line because injected fat is unpredictable.

Also if you gain weight, those fat cells will grow too and women need to consider this as they approach menopause because hormone fluctuation la can make us gain weight.

There are risks for every cosmetic treatment. Some may be low risk like blindness etc, but some will be the unlucky ones and it could be you.

I had a consult with a plastic surgeon last year and he said that the risk of fat migration to the lower face is too high, so he generally doesn't recommend fat transfer except in very specific cases. He recommended facial implants instead, but those freak me out so I opted out.

I had a fat transfer 7 months ago at the age of 36 … My nasolabial folds were my main concern … today I was asked if I was even over 25 … my dr slightly over corrected due to fat being re absorbed, so my results are incredible !! Fat was placed on the temples, cheeks, jawline, and around the mouth … 💗it is risky just like any other plastic surgery procedure … your doctor needs to inform about all possible risks and most important is to forget about cutting out carbs and fats after procedure … this newly placed fat needs the calories and energie to survive. I was willing to gain a few pounds afterwards. Don’t smoke or consume alcohol for a few months afterwards. Be realistic and work with your surgeon !! 💗

Also I did hear you saying with age Fascia gets longer, can you explain that in depth please, I love fascia release, I never actually saw living fascia, but you did, in my mind Fascia gets sticky and crumbles up and restricts it's own smooth movments.
