5BX is a classic fitness program devised by the Royal Canadian Air Force in the 1950s. A version for females called XBX followed later. With print runs in the hundreds of thousands and PDFs freely available online, both routines have their followers today (I'm quite fond of the supposed 'female' version, it is a pretty good stretching and mobility routine).

Less well known, because it was not for public consumption, is "Daily Exercises for Use Ashore and Afloat". Issued to Royal navy PT instructors and those leading PT sessions aboard ship (primarily), this little booklet contains sets of SIX exercises - hence why I've referred to it as 6BX.
