Worth it!

His initial work mixed the past and present tense pointlessly. He needed that muse.

I'm late here, but I think this is less about creative stress, and more about having your heart sucked out by the big business of publishing.

This is one of the scarier shorts I've seen, probably because I write also. Interesting about "feeding the muse" because the times when it pours out of you, it does feel like you are drained. Absolutely loved that. And the muse itself was terrifying! Great ending and so realistic - given his response to his friend when talking about fame and fortune.

Watching this because I have severe insomnia and can't sleep might be a mistake, but I'm gonna finish it anyway.

I've had sleep paralysis. It's like a live episode of Black Mirror, and it's horrifying.
That being said, would I make the decision to be successful if that was part of it. I'd like to think 'no', but I'm not sure I would either.

This is a very innovative way to portray the professional creative industry tbh xD gaining famedom as an artist of any kind is actually extremely brutal and essentially requires signing your soul away. Ever wondered why celebrities actually seem miserable most of the time? Well they may not literally have an evil muse living in their home, but metaphorically… very likely.

Second hand avocado will take you places!
Nicely done and perfectly paced, neither does it outstay its welcome nor does it frustrate the viewer.

Only reason I gave this a thumbs down is because of the damn ear bleeding noise they thought would be scary through this entire movie but it's gaw damn painful & Unnecessary, Other than that it was a decent short film.

In dreams like that,I try, try, TRY until I can scream my way out of the nightmare. It often starts with a low, slow, panicky mumble. But if I persist, and I do Lol, I can wake myself up to the sound of myself screaming in the dark and out of whatever Hell hath brought me in the form of dreams. .

meh.... this short horror story is meh material to me...
it wasn't bad but it wasn't that good neither it was just
okay to me honestly... and i expected it to be better...!!
& honestly i didn't fancy nor like this short horror film!!

Anything with fingernails coming off is just 🤮🤮🤮 I think that hangnail scene in Black Swan traumatized me. And then there was the little incident in Ozark with the toenails as well 🤢.

This was really good, I thoroughly enjoyed it although I have seen something similar, but you had to feed the muse animals then people 😳

Really entertaining! Just great all around. Totally creepy, and I was tense during the entire second half. Thanks for giving me the heebie jeebies with the fingernail at the end. That kind of thing always makes me squirm (guess it's the little things, huh?). The author's daughter is just precious! Characters like her always make me grit my teeth. Great job!

So terrifying! I even mute the sound as it will give me jumpscares. He is willing to have horrors everyday in order for his career to be succesful. He will get immune to it in time. 😅Everything has its price. Alter never disappoints . Best channel ever!

I swear, when he was having the sleep paralysis episode, I low key got scared because I know exactly how that feels😭 my chest started getting right and everything 🤣 also, having writers block is THE WORST. Like, you literally cannot think of anything. In the beginning when it shows the things he’s writing and you hear that “click, click” sound, that made me so anxious 😭😂😂

Some return the statue to George Martin. One book still is missing.
