Why would a dragon want gold? It's not like he needs it to buy anything.
ОтветитьSmaug ❤😍
ОтветитьThranduil:ok everyone in 3 we attack erebor and why dale is burning
Why the fuck are dwaves escaping from the mouu......
FUCK
ITS A MITHERFUCKING DRAGON
For illuvatar sake no no no
We are going
I dont remember the CGI being this bad
ОтветитьSo during this event legolas still a baby or a teen already.
ОтветитьIt was very disappointing how very much Jackson changed the movie from the book. Thorin didn't face Smaug that day, and if he had tried to do so at the front gate, he would have died. Balin would have known before Thorin that the dragon was coming, and Thorin's father and grandfather escaped through the secret tunnel. I was also very disappointed in the confrontation between Bilbo and Smaug, and, well, almost all of the movie, really. At least they did a good job of making Smaug look big and scary, but he wasn't really red-gold, nor did he glow.

ОтветитьTo all of the people who keep insulting Thranduil in the chat, please remember that he had every right to be reluctant to help the dwarves fight against Smaug. For he was born and lived during the first age, a time where there were Dragons who made Smaug look like a child going on a tantrum in comparison to their might.
Also by that time, the elves were already leaving middle-earth and were low in number, meaning that he would have been leading his people into a slaughter with no guarantee they even have a chance of winning.
Also in the extended version of the film, Thror actually stole Thranduil’s gems and actually try to barter them back for more gold, making it so that Thranduil was very reluctant to help him after that.
I remember seeing the first movie, and Smaug was built like a conventional dragon, 4 arms like stubby arms kinda and then 2 wings, I was kinda shocked seeing he ended up being a wyvern, altho they r my fav

ОтветитьI wonder how differently Erebor would be if Durin`s Bane attacked Erabor instead of Smaug.
Ответитьdrogon takes kings landing
ОтветитьHow is strength 20 dwarf(non-gargantuan) race able to take on hits from Gargantuan creature like Dragon? It doesn't make sense. The strength and dexterity mechanics dont make sense in DnD.
ОтветитьSmaugs limb changes are such an eye sore going from six to four making the clip so inconsistent. Smaug should’ve had six limbs to the end of the movies.
ОтветитьBTW smaug has four legs in acene when he enters their kingdom
ОтветитьWhen you realise Balin was just 7 years old when this happened.
ОтветитьErebor was lost
ОтветитьLol Thranduil brought his whole army in matter of hours to the mountain? Hobit trilogy isnt bad but has this unlogical and inconsistent moments.
ОтветитьAnd do you know who portrayed the dragon? It wasn't until the sequel, The Desolation of Smaug, Benedict Cumberbatch gave his voice to the dragon, he even also portrayed him through motion capture, I loved his performance
ОтветитьThranduil: I heard you needed help, what's up?
Thorin: WE HAVE A DRAGON
Thranduil: New phone who dis
Thorin: THIS IS A VERBAL CONVERSATION
Thranduil: Please leave a message after the beep
Oh so this is why Thorin hates Thranduil and every other elf
ОтветитьHey! I thought that Thorin wasn't in the mountain when Smaug first attacked!?!?! Why is he there???
ОтветитьKeep in mind, Smaug was only in his teenage years when he conquered Erebor.
ОтветитьComplacency, the greatest enemy of all prosperous people
ОтветитьThey said he was originally designed with 4 legs, but he walks on his hands/wings.
ОтветитьI found it so interesting here he has the book look four legs with two wings and in the next movie he looks like a wyver the when it get dragons the realistic version of there are
ОтветитьLol in the book the peeps running outta the front woulda been toast
ОтветитьI wish there had been more scenes with Erebor. I LOVE the city, its architectures, its levels, its art, etc. I find it fascinating
ОтветитьI've watched this scene multiple times and get the goosebumps everytime smaug enter the scene. It was so Epic
Ответитьmore
ОтветитьUnderrated scene .
ОтветитьThis is sad
ОтветитьI BEEN OVER DONE
ОтветитьI have a theory as to what Thranduil was doing here with his army
Similarly to what he does in BOTFA, I think he travelled with his army to Erebor in order to pressure Thror, Thorin's grandfather, to give him back his lost wife's jewels
Except that when he arrives, a dragon is already destroying the city. So Thranduil does the smart thing and goes away in order to protect his men from having to face the dragon, because he knows firsthand how dangerous it can be and it's not worth the trouble (still a dick move for the dwarves but at least it's a bit justified than travelling all the way to Erebor just to back off at the last minute)
Thorin sees and army Elves and is relieved that help is here.
I see an army of Elves and wonder why did Thranduil bring an army to Erebor in the first place? There’s no way he could’ve known a dragon was going to attack, he was there for war until he saw that it was a dragon he’d be dealing with.
I have literally just noticed that when Smaug walks into Erebor, in the theatrical version he walks on massive clawed feet but in the extended version he walks in on his wings.
ОтветитьI understand that Thranduil obviously couldn't save them from the dragon, BUT there's more than one way to help people. He could have helped them to relocate or something (something that showed he cared atleast)
Ответить"How DARE you not come commit suicide!"
ОтветитьThe only plausible explanation as to why Thranduil came near Erebor with his army is that he was planning to attack Erebor, with the intention of reclaiming what he was robbed of, but saw the Firedrake and thought “nah! not worth the risk, perhaps on another day”.
ОтветитьFun fact: smaug is one of the smallest dragons of his own
