Yes! This is what I am working, getting the lower body (hips) moving as I get to the top --- not easy --- more dynamic swing, less mechanically step by step (my typical thinking). Great Video and explanation. Another way to state it is keeping tension (rubber band) -- building tension by the lower body moving opposite (just a bit) the upper body so you can swing freely by releasing the tension, not muscle it through transition and release. Arghhh.... to the range at sunrise to work this. Thank You!

I like the timing... tempo. Its close to 3 count backswing 1 count downswing

Exactly what the pros do Christina. It takes a lot of practice, but it's game changing. I find that counting when I'm almost to the top, and not at the start of the take away, helps not only with rhythm where it really matters, but also to finish my backswing, slow down the transition, and get things in proper sequence. In particular getting pressure down the left foot as I'm approaching the top of my back swing...not at the top and not on the way down. So it's 1 (at the 3/4 point on the way back and initiating pressure into the lead foot) and 2 (at the top, feeling like my club is kind of floating for a brief moment) and 3 (slowly start the downswing). It's really helped me.

I am very sceptical, there a lot of moving parts in this action, when timing is right it might produce more distance with a lot of left and right misses in between however all golfers from hacker to Tour Pro consistency is what they are aspiring to and this loose limbed recoil type action does lend itself to that .

I tried this in a tournament this past weekend and it worked great. No fat shots and really good distance. I love it! Thanks so much for the tip ⛳️
