if you're using Lunar client then you can choose the optifine version of either 1.20.1 or 1.20 , it kinda gives you more cooler options and also helps your FPS go up instead of going down (if it doesnt work then i dont know)

Even with the lowest graphics settings and render distance I'm still getting about 60 fps when running around/100 when standing still, and I'd rather be able to see where I'm going (I want to play with at least 8 chunks of render if possible). This result is without sodium, can it be used on vanilla servers? Or am I doomed to play multiplayer where my framerate is better for some reason?

See, my issue is I was able to run mod packs like RLCraft at the absolute max settings with RTX on...now I can barely run it at a consistent 60 FPS. I've updated everything I could've possibly thought of, even did clean installations of the most recent drivers for each of my parts. Disabled Vsync, went into Nvidia settings and tweaked things around, set Java to max performance and still nothing....I'm lost and no online guides are exactly helpful when 90% of the recommendation is to turn it on and off again.

I will give you a tip guys, If your monitor can't show more that 60 fps, then there is no reason to put more than 60 fps. it's even better when your fps is stable than when it jumps from 150 to 100...

my fps normally is fine but when i go to my storage room it goes from arroudn 140 to 90 or even lower xD

You won't believe my laptop has 4gb ram and my Minecraft runs smoothly before adding 4 gb ram and SSD but after adding these my laptop get smooth but Minecraft won't i also played pixelmon before adding ram and SSD it's run smoothly but now it's not
