OpenWRT : How To Link Access Points

Is switch really needed between main router and APs? Can't I just simply connect 3 or 4 APs directly to LAN ports on Main router? And one more - connecting wired device to any of the APs will still work right? In that case the Main router which has DHCP enabled will provide ip for the wired cilent connected to the AP?

You should have switched to different channels on both routers.

Well that’s certainly an advantage over wireless repeaters.

I don't understand the network diagram I thought the router is supposed to be next to internet instead of the switch

Sao hong lấy cái 2 router cắm cổng LAN lại rồi tắt cấp phát IP động trên cái phụ sau đó set cấu hình wifi y nhau cho lẹ? Tại sao lại phải cần đến 3 router mà 1 cái chỉ dùng dây không cho nó bật wifi? Rồi còn tốn thêm cái sw nữa!
