Not trying to sound mean but you good sir have the how do i say it when not doing interpretations of characters have the perfect voice for telling this epic tale like you could have been standing by sigmar himself from what little i know of the lore of the old world (40k here) and definitely deserve a cup of coffee from every warhammer fan thank you for this

Personally I love the fantasy elves but I hate there 40k variant the fantasy elves have a lot more substance a race split understanding there greatest age is over yet they fight on not melancholic like the eldar but with hope what has been may come again

End Times are not cannon, lore should expand a world not destroy it, The End times should be an example of the worst thing you can do to a fantasy setting, excluding putting Kathleen Kennedy in charge of course.

Has anyone ever considered that the Old World may have been a trap laid for the gods of Chaos? I know this theory is out there and has no real supporting lore but if you think about it what better way to trap the chaos that plagues you throughout your travels across the universe. Pick a world, create some races of beings for chaos to want to corrupt. Even makes races like the greenskins and others to tempt chaos that world is primed for their presence. Then once all 4 take physical form on the world, they leave and close the portals trapping chaos in a world of endless conflict to occupy it's time. Since there is a lack of history of interaction between chaos and the old gods the only thing we know for sure is chaos comes into the world with a vengeful hate for the gods of order right away. It's likely chaos has followed order throughout time and space warring, and corrupting everything order creates leading to them wanting to trap chaos in a mortal plane. If so it was the perfect trap and it clearly worked.

Trying to get into the lore for warhammer. This is awesome, above and beyond.

The Old World really isn't that old. The Old Ones arrived about 15,000 years before Sigmar. So until the idiotic End Times not even 20,000 years.

AoS could have honestly been an expansion to Fantasy, just moving the timeline forward without the End Times. Advance the timeline forward a couple hundred years to introduce the new factions, and other than that just add the "same" factions to their already existing counterparts to, you know... expand them.

EDIT : In fact, you could even tweak the End Times invasion of the Empire storyline so that the Empire still gets more or less leveled, but survives with like a tenth of their population when the war ends. Then they're in the position of having to rebuild and repopulate, while still having to deal with Orcs and Beastmen and Skaven and whatever else. That way you have a reason for why the Empire has been relatively "stagnant" for the few hundred years gap in the timeline, and why they haven't hit the industrial revolution they were clearly on course for before the world went boom.

I prefer Fantasy to AoS. That being said though, I'd have liked to see a couple AoS factions in Fantasy. The Idoneth are fantastic, and I prefer the Lumineth and Sylvaneth to the Wood Elves. That being said though, Fantasy had the better Greenskins... with the exception of the Gloomspites because those are also fantastic.

The music, the voicework, the imagery all combined with the deep lore of the Old World, this is a masterpiece. It's so gripping and enthralling the way you tell this story, I feel like a kid again learning about the vastness of fantasy and science fiction histories. I feel a soaring feeling of joy and curiosity at an age when I believed all of these emotions had disappeared with the passing of time. Massive thanks to you for this, it truly is an engaging way to tell a story.
