ОтветитьThere will be no replacement for Norm. I taped every episode (still have them) back in New England and watched them intently. Today you can tune into many woodworkers who are very talented here on the tube. Check out Jason who has a tube channel called Bourbon Moth Woodworking. He is the next generation of what Norm was offering. Have fun, be safe.
ОтветитьNorm is god. I had the pleasure of meeting him in the early 90s at a hardware store opening in Davie FL. The guy is a class act took a few minutes to talk with me and my dad even gave me a few tips.
ОтветитьAbout 5 years ago, living in Brimfield, MA, I had a membership to Old Sturbridge Village that allowed me entrance whenever they were open. One sunny fall day, I took a trip over to it...parked in the parking lot and proceeded across the street to the the entrance sidewalk. There before my eyes, was Norm talking to a gentleman. I walked by them, as close as I could without desturbing their chat, but being a big Norm fan, enjoyed every bit of it. He was there to dedicate the newly refurbished saw mill that day. My lucky day...
ОтветитьLegend.
ОтветитьNorm, your are the Master woodworker ever. Best regards from México!
ОтветитьWhat tips ?
ОтветитьI'm guessing this was recorded during the last season of TNYW, as the year 2009 is mentioned at the end of the video.
ОтветитьLoved hearing from Norm again
ОтветитьGreat to see Norm. I really miss TNYW. Somebody needs to pick this series up and start showing these again!
