easy, it's hyper beam, blizzard, fire blast, thunder
ОтветитьWould have been interesting to split the 1032 into 2x and 4x damage
ОтветитьYou can use Smeargle and use best moves of every those types😁
ОтветитьGlacial lance on ice rider calyrex allows you to automate the academy ace tournament on its own so thats pretty cool
ОтветитьI have a move set for an eevee in pokemon adventure red chapter, since the eevee in that game can evolve into any types, i personally liked a moveset of: Counters:
1.) Ground 5 Types
2.) Fighting 5 Types
3.) Ice 4 Types
4.) Rock/Fire 4 Types
this one isn't possible, but you could sub the fighting move for flying press. It acts like a fighting move but hits for fighting and flying simultaneously
then again, it's not really doing much since you give up hitting rock and steel for super effective to hit grass and fighting, any flying/rock, bug/rock, grass/rock, flying/steel, bug/steel, grass/steel types would be neutral because of ground and ice (25 pokemon all together, not counting megas) , but you would be able to hit more fighting types
edit: it would be able to hit the rock/grass and steel/grass types for super effective damage, but I don't have the time nor patience to go back through and figure out which pokemon that is and give yall an accurate number
😊
ОтветитьSoak+grass+electric+ghost could work if you add status I think
ОтветитьOne move set that can hit every Pokémon for super effective damage: soak + any grass or electric move (and freeze dry)
ОтветитьWith focus blast, how many are you hitting, and how many are you missing?
Ответитьawesome content bro more pls
ОтветитьActually, you're wrong
There are 2 pokemon that can hit more stuff for super effective and don't need a mixed set, being both pangoro and kangaskhan
this is because of scrappy, allowing them to hit hisuian zoroark
Might have missed it but I'm surprises there wasn't a Legend Plate Arecus Meme in this.
ОтветитьI would say there is an objectively best moveset but it just requires a bit of creative thinking as it is your opponents moveset aka the moveset given to you when you send out a pokémon with imposter.
The reasoning is simple, the knowledge that the moveset is the same as the opponents is instantly valuable information and it will rarely have a poor matchup to the opponents moveset since even in the case of bulky pokémon being able to stall out the 5 pp of each move you still can also do the same back and switch out afterward with effectively no resource loss.
Obviously this is severely hindered by ditto being the only pokémon with access to the imposter ability that grants access to such a moveset without wasting a turn but even so it still makes great use of it, I am not considering the other benefits of imposter as part of the moveset either as they simply aren't moves.
I would say if there was an ability akin to imposter that only copied moves it would be very strong still despite not including other benefits, in general the knowledge from having an opponents moveset just lets a player begin to snuff out the game by playing in a flowchart in most cases.
An honorable mentions:
Gen 1 mewtwo's moveset (psychic, blizzard, amnesia, recover) in green and blue back when blizzard had a 1/3 freeze chance with a 90% accuracy (technically 89.45%) since it isn't exactly like there was counterplay to it just existing when it would just muscle through anything anyways.
Zygarde post gen6 (thousand arrows, dragon dance/coil, substitute/rest, dragon tail/glare), they gave it a move that quite literally just is the best coverage for a single move and as a result zygarde can run 3 status moves for all it cares and get away with it.
Toxapex(scald, knock off/toxic, haze/toxic, recover), it isn't a pokémon known for it's offensive stats yet it still has next to no switch-ins it cannot punish in some way with scald and knock off.
Keldo (scald, secret sword, calm mind/hp grass, taunt/substitute/aqua jet/hydro pump/ice beam), scald+secret sword really just is perfect coverage for nearly anything until you encounter pex, gastrodon, jellicent or several other specific mons but that's what the two extra moveslots are for.
Celesteela, I don't think celesteela is perfect or even broken by any means but it's standard set of heavy slam, flamethrower, leechseed ,and protect never really has any trouble and saw plenty of play in both singles and doubles formats.
Rotom wash gens 5+(hydro pump, volt switch, will-o-wisp/thunder wave/toxic, painsplit/defog/discharge), rotom wash is similar to celesteela but better as it pivots and spreads status and does what it does so well that it could be argued as evidence of scald being broken despite not even having the move just because how heinous it's moveset is already while running two moves to do the same thing.
Darkrai gens4-6 (dark void and basically anything), dark void and I rest my case.
Though many of these movesets have variables they have so because movesets strength is in part due to how they synergistically work with other team members as well as variability just inherently being good since the opponent must consider and respect several possibilities.
legend plate arceus "judgement is the moveset"
ОтветитьHypothetically using flying press for the fighting move would let you hit fighting types super effectively
ОтветитьMan, I just realized now how broken Ice type would be if Water types are naturally weak to it. Water Pokemons are generally annoying to deal with especially those with the noted dual typings. Also, if Freeze Dry was a TM, would people choose it over Ice Beam despite the weaker base power?
ОтветитьMy favorite is Starmie: Surf, Psychic, Thunderbolt, Ice beam
I’m not a competitive player but this move set can take you through basically entire game with no problems for most part.
My personal favorite is Alakazam's Generation 2-3 elemental punch set. Psychic, Thunder Punch, Ice Punch, Fire Punch.
ОтветитьBloodmoon
ОтветитьI thought up of a move combination. One Pokémon uses Surf on another pokemon then the Pokémon whose getting attacked by Surf uses Aqua Jet inside the Surf.
ОтветитьWhat's the build for tyranitar??
ОтветитьTo maybe uptadr it I think that for the current moment flying electric fighting earth is a bit better than what you mentioned in the video which is cool because I think multiple pokemon can use those types. Love the video by the way
ОтветитьI love the sass your doggo throws around
ОтветитьA heavily underrated move set i’ve used is Rest, Sleep Talk, Revival Blessing. Sleep Talk can call on revival blessing even if it has no pp left and can lead to a load of rezzes!
ОтветитьWouldn't flying press be a better fighting type coverage move?
ОтветитьIce beam, Thunderbolt, Psyshock, Quiver Dance
Or
Toxic, Infestation, Cosmic Power/Contrary Shell Smash, Rest
In what game can Kyurem learn this in? I'm using the Pokemon database move finder and can't find anything. Can someone explain this to me?
ОтветитьBest move is either belly drum and drain punch or endeavor and quick attack/shadow sneak
ОтветитьI knew since you said ice I was predicting you to talk about freeze dry which is really smart idea to hit water types aswell
ОтветитьReally wasn't expecting you to hit us with the freeze dry. Literally who even remembers that move
ОтветитьJus give Mr. Rhyme;
- Freeze Dry
- Focus Miss
- Shadow Ball
- Tera Blast Ground! 💡
Best moveset is ditto/mew using transform. Literally have any moveset, yes, only 5 pp, but you can have anything
ОтветитьBest Blissey Moveset:
Softboiled
Toxic
Thunder Wave
Heal Bell
Also, you can make a smeargle with, thousand arrows, freeze dry, flying press and shadow ball, leaving only fairy and bug types not hitten supereffectively
Ответитьhow do you made those calcules?
ОтветитьLIVING PROOF THAT GEN 5 IS THE BEST GEN OUT OF ALL OF THEM. LITERALLY NO COMPETETTION.
ОтветитьWe're just looking to pull off super effective hits right?
Lanturn: Soak, Thunderbolt.
Clefairy: Metronome
To be more serious though, and still in the spirit of the original intent, I think a more thorough analysis would factor in expected damage output. From Kyurem, 1x effective Draco Meteor does more damage than 2x effective Shadow Ball and Earth Power, and almost as much as 2x effective Freeze Dry, while trailing behind 2x effective Focus Blast just a bit.
Setting some ground rules for a similar run:
We're looking to maximize damage defined by as a percentage of the targets maximum health, as an average result of any random variables (accuracy, magnitude, critical hits, etc.)
The attacker and target are level 100 in a single battle. The attacker has optimized IVs/EVs and consistent, the defender has 0 EV/IVs.
All attacks must be capable of causing a KO (no super fange, endeavor.)
Field conditions are neutral and stat changes are neutral unless an ability changes them immediately.
Moves must deal damage over a single turn.
Moves must not KO the user.
No major generational gimmicks (Mega stones, Z-crystals, Dynamax, Terastalizing.) Regular items (usually choice bands/specs/life orb) are allowed.
Assume the opponent is using splash at its native speed (Focus Punch works, Counter does not, Fischous Rend depends on speed.)
I think we're now in an environment a bit more balanced. Coverage is important, but can be trumped by stats and base power. Mixed sets are also viable since most Pokemon won't need speed, but this would lose out on power as they're likely running a life orb instead of a choice item.
Top contenders that come to mind:
Deoxys with Choice Specs: Psycho Boost, Focus Punch, Hyper Beam, Shadow Ball
Rayquaza with Life Orb: V-Create, Dragon Ascent, Outrage, Giga Impact, Draco Meteor
Alolan Marowak with Thick Club: Flare Blitz, Poltergeist, Focus Punch, Stone Edge
Kyogre with Choice Specs: Water Spout, Thunder, Ice Beam, Hyper Beam
I doubt I've got a top set. But I think this is the order of magnitude we're looking at.
Come to think of it, I usually find myself using dragon type moves without ever realizing it's coverage is ridiculously bad. This was an eye opener
ОтветитьImprison and tranform is such a good combo
ОтветитьNow, purely theoretical, electric type pokemon with wonder guard and air balloon
Orrrrrr normal and ghost with justified, or wonder guard for that 1 Weakness 😅
please make a second episode for a defensive moveset that would be great
ОтветитьBest move in Pokemon is Protect. Stop playing singles and join the big boy league, vgc
ОтветитьKyogre in Gen 3 and 4. Ice Beam, Thunder, Surf, Calm Mind.
ОтветитьSubscribed as an apology
ОтветитьTyranitar and starmie are elite when it comes to this. Starmie more straightforward, but Tyranitar can even go mixed sweeper. EdgeQuake, superpower, ice beam/ice punch, and many more
Ответитьthousand arrows over earthquake, or was it thousand waves hmm
ОтветитьThere's a different angle you could have taken for this:
What's the moveset that hits the most pokemon for the most total cumulative damage
As an example, both Close Combat and Hydro Pump would super effectively hit a Nosepass, but Hydro Pump would do so with 60 more power after resistances
Conversely, against a Probopass, Hydro Pump would be a neutral hit for 150 base power, but Close Combat would hit for a staggering 480.
And so, what moveset will hit for the most cumulative power?
Also also, you could have limited the pokemon in the target set to fully evolved ones.
I feel like this exercise is heavily skewed by including NFEs.
A fun fact about the ground ice dual typing is that the only two type combinations to resist it without abilities factored in is ice bug and water bug. With abilities you add bronzong and orthworm to the mix (unless I’m forgetting anything)
ОтветитьFunnily enough that’s the close to the set that got kyurem banned in gen 8 competitive except it usually ran ice beam over shadow ball for the stronger stab hit
Ответить
