How To: Denman Wash n Go Routine for Defined Curls

I have similar has as you but my hair goes flat at my roots and I can’t get it to volume no matter how hard I try. What am I doing wrong?

I know this was posted 2 years ago, but I am a Mixed girl with curls slightly similar to yours, but I believe I have a permanent middle section from the way the mother used to do my hair. So how were you able to make the fall the the back, because every time I try to style my hair, it always falls on either side. There's never any hair covering like my neck or anything and it always makes me feel insecure.. But thank you for the tutorial! Im trying it today.. wish me luck!

What diffuser head do you use?

I don’t have a diffuser, my mom refuses to get me one and says it’ll ruin my hair or something, what should I use?

I have 3a curls, I’m me they look like old lady curls or if I use the Denman I turn into shirley temple which isn’t cool for a woman in her late 30’s 😭 I wish I had these gorgeous tight curls 😂💯

Beautiful results! I tried the Denman brush one time but when my hair dries it runs super wild and looks very untameable. Even a ponytail is an impossible mission lmao. I may try plopping to maintain moisture while it dries. Idk
