Even I thought the story choices in season 6 made no sense. The Franky and Nick thing for example.

Late to the party but now I want a special episode where Chelle meets Franky.

April has such a soothing voice. I hear it in my head all day lol. I’m so happy I found the podcast too.

Skins fans should really start watching April's podcasts with Skins actors and actresses. These kids would be surprised that, acting like you're an "Effy" could really put you into situations later you'd just think how young, naive or ignorant you were at such age. She was a kid, posing with bikinis and she was told to be looking sexier. Her character would go to tremendous changes against her will and thought. And Dakota was, is and most likely will be forever hated because of her character and, even though now she is a strong independent women, back in the day she was in her 20s tops and she was being attacked so much because of her job. She constantly posts on her instagram how people literally hate her living will solely because of a character she didn't even had any control of, who is somewhat considered to have killed a fictional character... I love Franky, I love Dakota, but these Skins Producers people were so out of line...

I love Dakota so much, I really appreciate April giving her the space to talk about her experience.

I'm glad to hear that Dakota Blue Richards was disappointed too about the change in Franky's character. More and more I realize that a lot of actors agree with fans and its the director or producers that refuse to do what the fans and the actors want

Nice interview, the bikini line up sounded horrid... However all this talk of representation is just so hypocritical, considering what she said about historical accuracy in historical dramas. Nothing wrong with taking stories and reimagining them in different time periods and settings... but historical accuracy should be paramount over representation.
