Russian Ark - Movie Trailer - 22nd IFFK

Invisible to everyone around him, a contemporary filmmaker magically finds himself in the Hermitage in St. Petersburg - back in the early 1700s. He meets a cynical French diplomat from the 19th Century and the men become accomplices in an extraordinary time-travelling journey through Russia's turbulent past - ending in the present day.

തനിക്കു ചുറ്റുമുള്ളവരില്‍ നിന്നും അദൃശ്യനായിക്കൊണ്ട് ഒരു ചലച്ചിത്രകാരന്‍ സെന്റ്‌ പീറ്റേര്‍സ് ബര്‍ഗിലെ മ്യൂസിയത്തിനുള്ളില്‍ 1700 കളുടെ തുടക്കത്തിലേക്ക് മായികമായി എത്തിപ്പെടുകയും ആത്മാന്വേഷണ സഞ്ചാരത്തിലൂടെ സ്വയം കണ്ടെത്തുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു . പത്തൊന്‍പതാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിലെ ഒരു ഫ്രഞ്ച് നയതന്ത്രജ്ഞനെ അവിടെ വച്ച് കണ്ടുമുട്ടുകയും അവരൊന്നിച്ച് റഷ്യയുടെ പ്രക്ഷുബ്ധമായ ഭൂതകാലത്തിലൂടെ അസാധാരണമായ യാത്ര നടത്തി വര്‍ത്തമാന കാലത്തില്‍ ആ പ്രയാണം അവസാനിക്കുന്നു.
