I dont understand why people still fuck intel when they are providing always better performce plus extra features at same price and actually better price at i5 vs 5600

Embarrassing launch for Intel? LOL. Do you know what is embarrassing here? AMD 5000 series CPUs and 500 series chipsets having massive issues with USB connectivity. That's what I call an embarrassment. I care less about 10% more FPS if my mouse drops connection every three minutes, my VR is not working or PCIE 4.0 protocol for GPU is not working.

Do not forget how Intel has always cherry picked benchmarks, ive seen other results saying that amd still holds the gaming crown, these games again are cherry picked cause they are better optimized with Intel

Whoopie, Intels running 500mhz faster, and gains 2% over amd. So amd releases an XT chip 100mhz faster and Intels gains are gone. Still way lower power consumption for AMD.

If I Get
145fps on Intel which may cost 100 amount...
Then..
140fps on AMD May Cost 140 amount...
.
So here price for performance... Intel is 100 times Better than AMD ...

run the test with 3600mhz ram or clock able ram from corsair to 3800mhz. Ryzen runs significantly better from 3200mhz to 3600mhz, but above 3800mhz gains in fps are NA and things crash.

AMD fanboys can go suck a fat one now because we all know performance on release will be like 10-20% more than AMD due to better compatibility etc.

Hmmm I'm not actually sure. I guess I was assuming a lot more powerful processors would arise from the rocket lake architecture at first glance. But it seems it's not that huge of a difference from a 10900k at all. : /

These processors get super hot too! Damn, I dunno if they will ever be able to fix that problem! XD

Here’s the deal. This is a stock 11900k. Let’s see the benchmarks when the 11900k is OC at 5.3Ghz. Also to mention in esport titles this cpu will be way better than AMD.

I’ll be ditching my 3900x for a 11900k. AMD’s 5000 release wasn’t that impressive IMO.

The gamers that are drawn to buy these CPUs are mostly gonna play at higher resolutions anyways, right? And for higher resolutions the framerates are still mostly limited by the GPU... So the the "Intel gaming crown" is pretty mich irrelevant at this point...

10900k gets no credit when you consider custom liquid cooling, its truly a beast, but the 11900k is definitely not worth it, I would rather go AMD.

What I think of the 11th gen Intel processors is that their marketing department has lied to us for decades about the performance numbers vs competitors so until third party testing is done, none of this means anything. The fact that "high performance cpu's" are almost exclusively the realm of multi-threaded systems, having 50% of the total thread count removed vs competitor is a very bad move. Single core performance only means something to - no one, no one at all, Excel works just fine on a 25 year old CPU the same as it does on a 64 core cpu today, no high performance app uses only 1 core. There is no purpose to that statistic or test. The only reason it is marginally relevant today is that graphics engines and OS's aren't fully thread optimized yet, but they're getting there and when that happens in the next few years, single core performance wont be a thing.
