Cool stuff keeps happening in the Color page. You get the feeling that the development team in the Color page are being more innovative than the Fusion team... because this effect really belongs over there in Fusion, doesn't it?

Excellent tutorial on the Surface Tracker. It was just as effective and accurate as the other ones that lasted over 8 minutes each. Brilliant.

Is there any advantage to tracking forward and then tracking again backwards?
Does it replace the forward track, or does it refine it?

I am applying this effect on the same clip about 20 times. I am doing it one render at a time. Do you know why on certain picture imports into the node screen (the same picture every time), some have a much lower opacity than the others? They are all set to 1.000, but for some reason the imports of the pictures on specific renders onto the time line are showing so much lighter. For reference as well, the spot where I am putting the pictures is the exact same color.

It doesn't make any sense to put this effect inside the color page. This is totally a compositing thing. But still, I'm glad I don't have to pay for the lockdown plug-in.
