I've been playing Kenshi for years, and I feel like just this week I have found more new channels doing more new introduction content for the game than I have seen before and I LOVE IT.
I'M HERE FOR IT. I'm not about to give my opinions on where to go or what to do because when you try something new, you never know what you might find.
I hope this channel helps bring a new wave of Kenshi players to the community

I did this on my first playthrough but it was at that other city. Squin or something where the other race of creatures are. I didn't know if they were friendly or not but I had to do something lol. Worked perfectly.

early on? you can literally find anything- overload your carry weight and literally walk forward. carrying a team mate.

I usally just grab a couple of beaks things and just beat them up in beds you can get lvl 50-70 in no time

Once the Fog Islands base is set up the entire group just slowly gets mid 20s-30s in all the core fighting traits by hauling ass and fending off the Fogbois

Best mod to get first thing (in my opinion):
1. Practice Weapons. Actual wooden swords. The most powerful weapon you can make does zero damage. But knock out a handy random mob, take them to a nice remote spot, equip them with the wooden sword, wake them up and start fighting. A little micro management to make sure they don't run away, and you just watch your weapon skills blast up the numbers.
Not only that, but your captive's skills also levels as well, so, if you have a prisoner pole and the Recruit Captive mod, you can get a partner who's equally as bad ass as you are.
Want to go the whole hog? when you build your settlement, build a second set of walls facing inwards, pop your prisoners in there with practice weapons, send in your own guys wit their own sticks, lock the gates and watch your very own Gladiator Arena.

One desert start I had a bunch of staving bandits wander near one of the UC cities. They all had a bounty of over 1000c. Idk why or how. All saw was cats. 20 minutes or luring and taking their unconscious body to the station later, I got a robot limb, I am thieves guild member, Arms and armor and a full belly! Best "worst" start I ever had.

Strategy is good but you shouldn't melee bandits when they are fighting guards in the town entrance, one turret shot to a vital part of your body and you are pretty much dead.

Starving Bandits are your early game bread. 😂

After years of playing I made a mod that will equip every starving bandits with decent armoury and their squad leader had a chance to spawn a medium grade equipment with prostetics. Also I increased the amount of Encampment in most of the map so you had to survive really hard. Venge is my favourite place to Mod, I made various patrolling skeletons with rival factions so you could see from the distance a war between them which is so satisfying to watch giving life to the area that even without your presence their fight for territory will go on. And when you build a settlement in Venge every Factions on that area will visit your doorsteps. 😂

It's all fun and games until a guard plants hash on you and you get sold into slavery.

I get medkit first and jump on starving bandits bare hands. 5 hours later, I get the the toughness of 20-25 and martial arts atleast 15-18

What town is this near? I can’t find the desert to save the life of me lol

I go to bad teeth, right outside to northeast in skimmers roam theres always a group or two of 40 or so starving bandits and big groups of wild bulls for toughness after that.and can skyrocket your stealth. Got my guy to 60 toughness in an in game week.
