To be honest you can argue many of the points here (for instance I think the Marvels was a fun movie). I do feel what isn't mentioned but does factor in as well is streaming. Movies are reserved for perceived must see events like Openheimer and Barbie. If it is "just another movie" even though entertaining, people would rather stream it at home for far less money than they would spend at a movie theatre.

Theatres are struggling for this reason, which also impacts the money hollywood wants to invest into these movies, which then again leads to a lowering of quality. Be interesting to see where it all goes.

I think the major difference between this and the James Gunn case is that Gunn was fired for claims made years earlier and were not meant to be taking seriously. Brie isn't talented, she has forgettable looks, yet she behaves like a primadonna. In my eyes, this is what makes people cross with her - an average-at-everything actress is so narcissistic and unable to look inside herself and see her own faults. It is not an easy task by any means. But both she and Rachel have failed miserably so far and this fake humility, 'does anybody want me to', which strikes me more as 'I am so insulted, shower me with compliments' fools nobody.

The fact Ezra Miller is still with Warner bros is a statement to how morally bankrupt and scummy Warner is. They drop Henry cavil and keep Ezra. I won’t be seeing anything coming from Warner anytime soon.
