Please note that this feature is not available on certain GM models, like my wife's 2011 Traverse. About a year ago, I bought a couple of blank fobs and a "fastlink" OBD programmer on e-bay. I had the new and 1 old working fob programmed in less than 5 minutes. It worked great! It was way less expensive than going to a dealer or locksmith.

Does not work on 2013 Silverado. No relearn on the info center. Will have to buy OBD programmer.

I have a 2014 Chevrolet Captiva with a 3 button remote. Door lock button, door unlock button and panic button, no remote start. Amazon has a kit with 2 fobs and 2 blank keys. I just wan to use the 2 new Fob remotes as I only have 1 that works and it is 10 years old and getting worn out. Will this vid work for my 2 new remote fobs?

I have a generic key fob for 2015 Chevy Captiva. Wouldn’t start car and key wouldn’t open car. I changed battery and still not working. Somewhere I read but can’t find the site now that said had to be done by someone with special equipment. Is that correct? Called service dept of local Chevy dealer said never heard that.
