ОтветитьThe Railway Children 1970.
ОтветитьYears ago I was working in the old school .an American tourist asked if he could look round and take some photos. there was only me there so I told him I didn't think it was open to the public but if he was quick it should be ok, it was only an empty building with a few old desks and seats in a store room . He spent about 10 minutes looking round and taking photos . When he left he had a smile on his face that looked like it would last a lifetime. I have friends that live in Haworth and I drive through it every week , I don't appreciate what's on my door step
ОтветитьWhat an amazing video!! This is the next best thing to actually travelling. Thank you for sharing your amazing mini docu-series!
ОтветитьAaaah my home village... good job lads!
ОтветитьWonderful. Fantastic place to visit 😊
ОтветитьI love this village..........the scenery in this village looks like diagon alley in harry potter movie
Ответитьsome of your videos aren't located in England......... I thought all of your videos are in England
Ответитьlooks like a lot of tourist trap shops. disappointing but to be expected.
ОтветитьGood to see them supporting Ukraine, against the Kremlin war criminals, and evil Putin the 21st century Hitler.
ОтветитьWhy do they all have Ukrainian flags? Are they Nazis?
ОтветитьI enjoyed this very very much thank you from Newzealand.
ОтветитьI live in Thornton Bradford near to where the Bronte's were born so have been to Haworth a few times but have never seen it at night it looked so different thanks for such a great video 👍
ОтветитьHaworth ist ja so ein tolles Städtchen.
Vielen Dank für dieses schöne Video 💖👍👋
Beautiful ❤ Thank you
ОтветитьOne of the shops in the High Street is Wild's bakers and confectioners which sells many delicacies under the name of Grandma Wild. I asked if there was a discount for Grandson Wild, but was told No.
ОтветитьWhat a fantastic video😊 I just love how you narrate all the relevant facts of these amazing towns, in your great storytelling voice. I felt as though I was walking along with you; your video was beautifully edited and presented. The rainy evening, with the glistening lights bouncing off the wet cobblestone street, was brilliant! I’m planning a visit to York very soon, so your videos have provided inspiration and direction to my travel schedule. I love your channel. Thank you again, for sharing the best of your travels😊
ОтветитьMágic town. We were there many years ago.
ОтветитьI’ve visited Haworth. It’s a picturesque place and well worth a visit. The only thing is you have to be fit as it’s quite steep. I couldn’t do it now sadly Me poor old legs wouldn’t make it.
ОтветитьAbsolutely delighted with your wonderful tours - I'm a real anglophile but have only been to England once and am unlikely to be able to go back, so I live vicariously through your tours!
ОтветитьThank you for Polish Subtitles.. subscribed 👍
ОтветитьThese videos are both lovely and informative. I live in the South in the US, where the landscape is quite different; thanks for bringing close-ups of Yorkshire to me!
ОтветитьAs usual, another lovely video!!! I've appreciated it a lot!!!👍👏👏👏🙋🏻♀️🇧🇷
ОтветитьThe location were the Railway Children & Railway Children Returns were filmed
ОтветитьGreat video, we’ll have to add this one to our list of places to visit. 👍😁
SUBSCRIBED!
Hello... Thank you so much for your lovely video... I would love to go.... Is there a hotel in the village that I could stay over the weekend? I live in Oxford, so I am thinking to go for a weekend. I have read all Bronte sister's novels, I love them and for me would be a very special visit😘😘😘😘is it worth it for a weekend? Thank you...!

ОтветитьGorgeous!
ОтветитьJust wonderful!!! Thank you sooo much!!💕👏👏
ОтветитьA truly wonderful village. I visited this place in the early 70s and it has hardly changed
Ответить
What a treat to watch your videos! Thank you so very much for sharing these wonderful locations and the information about the people from history and the current times.
ОтветитьHaving found your channel, I'm really enjoying all of your videos ,they're done in an interesting and informative way that makes them a joy to watch, ☺️👍
ОтветитьWhat a terrific video of Haworth! I had 10 days tripping around Yorkshire back in 2019 but somehow missed out on this village. Thanks for showing us around.
ОтветитьLove it !!! Thank you 🤗😘
Ответитьneeds a little tlc please dont lose what you have
ОтветитьThat was lovely, thank you. Just as I remembered it.
ОтветитьThank you. I am loving all your videos. This one was particularly enjoyable because we got to see you 'interact' with the town, having the ginger biscuit - which gives more interest and also gave us time to digest all the historical information. Thank you so much for your time and effort. Unfortunately, poor as a churchmouse here, so can't contribute at the current time. Hope to do so in the future!
ОтветитьThe most boring, depressing self - important dump in the UK,And the Bronte's ( not their real name :it was Brunty) were from Thornton not Haworth.
ОтветитьSo much History
ОтветитьOne of my Ancestors was Cardinal of York!
ОтветитьLovely is the first word that always occurs to me whenever I think of the Village of Haworth. I still have the Bronte book I purchased at the local bookstore back in 1974. Spent most of my time there haunting the Church cemetery. It was the highlight of my student trip from Kean College in New Jersey. Does not appear to have changed much. Enchanting.
