All junk bikes for the average rider. So much maintenance it's unbelievable. Go get a Yamaha. Or one of the other Japanese bikes. Don't go down the Italian rabbit hole.

The Ducati Nein Nein Nein!

My buddy went from a CBR600 to a s1k and now outta my old riding buddies from back home I’m the only one on a 600 and I love my R6 so she’s not going anywhere. I do kinda wanna get a Ducati as a second bike though, I have always wanted a 1k one day, but just enjoy having a bike I can get on and not be over 100 and on the verge on losing my license if pulled over lol. Idk how hard these are to own though, but I’ve never like the BMW look; and newer Asian 1k’s are off putting imo

Yeah no thanks. Maintenance is enough to scare me away. Timing belts at 10k miles or whatever it is and everything else. NO ONE takes any of this into consideration. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the looks of the 999 either. Especially now.

Notable the 916-996-998 had a smaller brother the 748. 999 had the 749. The smaller brother was only displacement wise & a thinner rear tire.
