Why did Fiona Gallagher Leave Shameless? Where is Emmy Rossum Now?

By the end of the series we see how all the kids ended up and realize that the kids raised mostly by Fiona, (Carl & Debbie), turned into complete f'ups.

Never a good move to leave a show that so established. I'm in season 9 and I'm not watching anymore knowing she's not even in the finale makes zero sense. Other that she slept with someone broke up and wouldn't go back. To do DragonBall with little mowhawk dude, wow horrible

I haven't gotten past season 1 yet but i can understand how emotionally taxing this must have been for her even if it is just a character. Tough storyline

Funny how she didn’t appear in anything after the show. Got way better when she left too.

Oh so she turned her back on us and the show.. thought they did it for story. It felt wrong the way she just left. The least she could have done was be part time to actually benefit the story. She genuinely ruined the end if the series for me, because the whole time i asked why, and where, or if she was going to return

I think she wanted more money. Macy was the highest paid on the show and that bothered her. At least that was true at one point.

They should start a show with her and have her siblings come into her show

Let's face it, she hasn't done anything as big and successful as Shameless

she was tormented on that show i’m glad she left, her and ethan are the realest from that cast
