I think I remember calling this "Takumi's third bullsword win".

Kai Kogashiwa can just sneak up to Takumi with his SW20's headlights closed then pop them up before the jump.

So realistic, he lost due to snap oversteer

If you're wondering, the "jump" isn't possible, but it's based in reality. Iroha is way too skinny to launch a car over the side like that, but there is a very steep bump inside each hairpin that can be crawled over if your suspension can take it. It saves some precious time but it's horrible for your car and very dangerous.

I like the fact that Kai went from a crazy skilled MR2 driver into some cool 3 star Lancer in FGO

Its odd how he forgot the trick he literally did the 1st season xd

Kai had the last laugh as he became a professional circuit racer

Everyone always talk about crazy for love and the irohazaka jump meme. Yes, it was quite an impact when i first watched too, but we just need to preciate the last part too. The song just fits perfectly, it's kinda like how many animes end their last episode.

this has to be one of my favorite races from Initial D, both Kai's MR2 and Takumi's AE86 battling on the Irohzaka slopes gets me excited every time !

I hate takumi he is always just lucky if those leafes wasnt there Khogasiva was win then Khogasiva is the best character anyways

Low key I have a mr2 spyder and just bought a sw20 and totally had to see this again

Maturing is realizing the ae86 would have probably needed atleast 20 sets of tires and 10 suspensions

Third stage had the best art style for me. It had the dark aesthetic of first stage but with sharper visuals. It looks great.

Nest's cg technology is became nice but why 3d animation director changed. I can't understand. Nest's battle scene's quality is became great.
