Unboxing a Pallet of Customer Returned DeWalt and Milwaukee Tools

This video was over an hour long and finished with a recap and screenshots of some sold items. Evidently the file got corrupted and only half the video uploaded.

Summary: I made about $1000 profit and sold most of it.

Been a contractor for 25 years so I've spent a lot of hours maintaining and repairing many brands of corded and cordless tools. The new tools are slick out of the package but taking them completely apart when they fail they aren't built as tough and reliable as they were 15 to 20 years ago. Many times the new ones cost almost almost as much to repair as buying new. Planned obsolescence. Edit : And they are raping us on the cost of batteries.

Just destroyed the blades on those planers running over nails.

I dont know where your located at. However abandoning thw floor drain and redoing a whole new above ground drain would 100% require planned permits with the city. then even thats not a door. It would so require that pasage way to be sealed up so there isnt the impression of a exit way... your city is super laxed

with some of these Dewalt nailers the RUBBER BANDS can snap inside.. I am pretty sure the mechanism is pulled back and forth with these black rubber type bands .. Open it up and take a look. Best thing to do is take a few pics of the inside b4 taking it apart so u know where everything goes..

If I’m not concerned about appearance being pretty. Is a flux core weld as strong as a gas weld…..I got a HD 135 Lincoln with gas (it’s basically made by Lincoln for exclusive sale by Home Depot" so any input is welcome being I only weld occasionally, weld bed frame type angle iron for lumber rack and fix an occasional garden tool and sheet metal art. I really only want wire welding for that and no selling or work for anyone but myself and couple family members. 1/8 or 3/16 is probably the absolute thickest I’ll ever weld and maybe an occasional burglar that I can keep alive in my soundproof room off my shop for 2-3 months with the right antibiotics.

That dewalt end is a anvil there so easy to replace its like 40 bucks.

I have thrown out about 10 20 volt dewalt batteries over the years and about 6 20 volt batteries. What are they worth when they will not charge anymore? Yes ive done the trick to jump them and still no charge.

Only a complete moron would pay full price for a tool that has already been opened and cannot be returned to the store if damaged. If it’s been opened, it’s used. Even if it’s still in the box, you aren’t protected by a return policy so asking full retail price for this stuff makes you a complete dipshit.

A lot of contractors buy tool,use them until a job is done and return within 90 days for a refund. The manufacturers should only allow exchanges if the tool is defective
