Hi! Will these pens also work on stickers?
ОтветитьThe Uni pen that comes as a gift with the hobonichi each year is my failproof choice on the go. sure it's just a regular ballpoint pen, but it won't smear with highlighters, which is so important to me, and it's also super fine which is good because i write extra small and i also use japanese, for which sometimes a ton of strokes in a small space is required. I'm not too big on frixion pens either, so i'm a correction tape person and for those times a ballpoint pen is also the best.
ОтветитьJulie you are absolutely beautiful!!
ОтветитьI absolutely love the Pilot G2. It writes great. But, yes it does smear badly! I’ll just need to be very careful and patient!
ОтветитьAre their any pens that do not shadow or ghost to the other side?
ОтветитьI recently discovered Pentel Enajeru Euro .35 pens on Amazon and OMG. True love. A smoother writer than the .38 Clenas for me and very little smudging on the hobo paper.
ОтветитьSo pleasantly and clearly demonstrated. Thank you!
ОтветитьI've tried the Clena, Sarasa dry and the Uni Jetstream. The Jetstream skips so much! The Clena takes too long to dry, but my Sarasa is just right! ❤
ОтветитьGreat video, thank you! I’m a new subscriber!
ОтветитьThe way I prefer writing in blue pen haha
ОтветитьThank you for a very informative video. I just bought my pens using your recommendations :D !
ОтветитьThanks for making this video! I JUST got Hobo Cousin yesterday and heard about the pen and paper issue.
ОтветитьThank you so much for this! I will be starting my Hobonichi Journey soon and I needed pen and marker recommendations! Happy to know I will not be ruining my Hobonichi with smudging!
ОтветитьThank you for this review. It helps me a lot choosing pens I want to use 🥰
ОтветитьI love the Pilot Frixion on the Tomoe River Paper. It’s underrated 😆
ОтветитьI buy Sarasa Mark ons and put them into other Sarasa metal bodies. The only thing that causes me to continually bounce between Mark-on and Energel is the needle-tip on Energels.
ОтветитьThey all are the pretty❤❤
ОтветитьSo happy the Microns passed your test. Got my first Hobonichi, the 5 year. I have to wait until January 1st to start using it 😢 But I love Microns, and I look forward to also testing the Sharpie brand micron-like pens because I'm big into color coding topics and I'll also be using mine to "journal" my path in learning to draw & stuff. I'll be using lots of different writing & drawing mediums in it probably. I need to find out how it holds watercolor and oil pastels. I have time to wait for it to dry. Pray that I can keep up with a daily journal for FIVE YEARS. That's not really ADHD friendly. 😬
ОтветитьGreat video! Always love seeing the pens. But I’m having a hard time finding the Sarasa dry drift grip is it called something else? I even went to Cloth and Paper and they don’t even show it. I like thicker pens, and I cannot lie. Thank you😊
ОтветитьI am completely confused as to why you would expect the Pilot Frixion to smudge... 🥴😉
ОтветитьYou're so cute! I don't even own a Hobo planner but I always watch your videos! :)
ОтветитьThank you for using the new Hobonichi paper !!
ОтветитьI love the microns! I am a champion smudger, so this video helps so much with what pens I can maybe not smudge.
ОтветитьNot sure if you are looking for planner suggestions. Just found this Canadian brand Aura Estelle. They have a Hobonichi feel.
ОтветитьMy favourite pens on the TRP are the energel clena range in .5, or .4. .3 is good but a little too faint for me. Definitely agree on the sarasa dry pens x
ОтветитьThank you so much for doing this video! I ordered my planner and thought, how am i going to know which pen to use...and then your video popped up! Super super helpful!
ОтветитьGreat video! I really like the first test pen you tested, I believe it's the Uni Jet stream ball point pen. Can you please let me know where I can buy this pen? Thanks so much!
ОтветитьI'm watching with subtitles and just loved reading about lettering with the tombow "food in a suitcase" pen!!😂😂
ОтветитьI knew I would be adding pens to my cart after this video 😍 my go to on Hobonichi paper is .38 G2 and the Energel Clenas is .4
ОтветитьAs a lefty, I LOVE the Sarasa Dry pens. I put the refills in my Uniball P body, or the Sarasa Grand body, and it’s perfect!
ОтветитьThank you for this. It was super timely, as this is exactly what I was wondering.
ОтветитьTo be able to write again in the same area you just erased the frixion you have to wait.. As it won't stick to a part that is "warm"
ОтветитьI’m shocked you didn’t test the Clena’s lol
ОтветитьLove these kind of videos! Wish I had this when I was searching for the perfect pen lol. I have now fallen in love with the Uniball one, I love that it doesn't have that faded black colour.
ОтветитьGreat video!! Just FYI, while I love the Pilot Frixions, I lost the first 3 months of my planner notes because I accidentally left my planner in my hot car. I tried the whole stick it in the freezer trick to try and get it back, but nope. All gone. So unless you never plan to have your planner in a hot environment, then go for the Frixion because they write so well, otherwise you're better off choosing a different pen.
ОтветитьGreat pen review Julie I'm with you with on loving that true rich black ink, one of the reasons I rarely use a ball point. I will be purchasing the Tombow Mono touch pen! Thank you!
ОтветитьA 27 minute video about pens?! You know the way to my heart right there 💛💛
ОтветитьI love my Frixion pens in all my planners. I use the .5 and .7. And swipe mildliners over them immediately. They never have smeared. But I leave these pens on my planner desk. Erasable ink isn’t good for writing checks or signing legal documents. 😊
ОтветитьLefty here - I took your recommendation on the uni one .38 and have been using a few weeks now in my hobonichi and love it! Bonus that they’re just so pretty AND actually fit in my cover’s pen loop.
ОтветитьWell done! Informative!
ОтветитьThank you Julie! This video was so helpful and appreciated. ❤
ОтветитьThanks for this demo. This is very helpful. It seems that the TRP-S has a shorter drying time compared to TRP.
ОтветитьThanks for this video Julie! Have you ever used a pencil board? I’m wondering how that would affect the indent on the underside of the page
ОтветитьYour nails are beautiful! What color do you have in this video?
ОтветитьVery helpful video . I love your new office. Think about a vlog that takes us around the house. Blessings.
Ответитьthank you Julie! I've been wanting these pen+Hobo details for a while. I need to branch out from the Zebra Sarasa dry! however might stick to it, didn't know about the wide body option!
ОтветитьFantastic info. Thank you so much❣ 2024 will be my first year in a Hobonichi!
ОтветитьDon't use frixon pens, if they get hot the ink disappears
ОтветитьTexas clearly suits you - you look great! Don't use a hobonichi but love all things pens!
