Hmmm....sounds depressingly familiar. HS2 anybody?
Having watched quite a few "explorer" videos recently, everything from old disused bunkers to abandoned office blocks and shopping malls, to railways and so on it made me wonder just how much money across Europe had been blown on projects like this. Something needs to change to prevent this happening, even if it's a law that a project must be completed, so at least the money isn't totally wasted.
With all the problems with housing it also seems crazy that so many buildings are standing empty, many with perfectly good furniture in them which surely could be used by the cash strapped schools in the area? Machinery, doors and windows, countless items that could be reused. Wouldn't that be a better way to save a lot of money and save the planet at the same time? Because the amount of stuff that's just abandoned and junked now is mind boggling.
Are you sure this is not about Britain?.
Ответить"8 more than Tampa Florida " lol
ОтветитьEnjoyed your video tremendously. Especially the humourous presenting. Instant subs.
ОтветитьWow, this sounds so badly done politically, it almost makes our german politicians blush!
ОтветитьNow that's really interesting! btw love when the Geography now music starts playing
ОтветитьAND NOW ITS GONNA REOPEN IN 2025 !
ОтветитьSO happy we got rid of that part of Holland that is now Belgium.
ОтветитьAt least you guys built a metro. Us in Dublin are still waiting for our Metro to be constructed. Is expected to start in 2025, but who knows if the government will stick by it.
ОтветитьReally good and informative video!
Ответитьany news on this line 5?
ОтветитьIm miving at the flat next to station pensée 🤣
ОтветитьI did just spend 6,5h to found your channel. That's my penalty because i didn't subscribe 😂😅
ОтветитьThe french speaking part of Belgium is like your wife. It doesn't like working but it loves spending money.
Ответитьthe design has a lot of similarities to the "younger" stations of U7 and U9 in berlin
ОтветитьSome parts in belgian seems like you are in east Europe before 1988
ОтветитьI mean, the city isn't supper pretty, but I'm sure it's much better place to live than many nice looking cities being that it's in Belgium
ОтветитьGreat video. I lost it when I heard the theme for Unsolved Mysteries which I grew up watching in America. Haha
ОтветитьBelgium has a much bigger white elephant than my country.
ОтветитьWEF
ОтветитьWhat happened? Government. As long as palms get greased, unions get jobs and there is money to be stolen by politicians and union goons the outcome is meaningless. Belgium is just better at it...
ОтветитьThe way to rate these crazy mass transit schemes is to work out how much car per capita they would buy.
ОтветитьWatching this basically makes me want to see the disbanding of Belgium as a nation as they're a complicated and forced fusion of two/three communities. 😂
Ответить"Waffle iron politics" is the funniest political term maybe ever. It beats "Gerrymandering".
Ответитьhahaha I love the dig at Tampa Bay, FL. As an American, please never stop drawing attention to our truly pathetic transit systems (or lack thereof really) - Neither Americans nor non Americans seem to know how bad it is!
ОтветитьIt would make a great location for a gritty crime movie. Like a hideout or a deal exchange.
ОтветитьBelgium is Easily one of the nastiest “countries” i visited, spent 12 hours there on a transit and let me just say it's in the top worst places in the whole world, looks like a degenerate warzone
Ответитьwell has of 18 May 2023 those ghost lines bellow that little park are now cleaned of weeds and i think are in use now, at least that's what i saw
Ответитьdid i just hear the goosebumps theme?
ОтветитьAs a belgian of the region, i had go to this station.
Ответитьyou even included the anthem of Charleroi ! That deserves a like ; )
Ответитьcrazy soundtrack from goosebumps
ОтветитьI hope they don't repaint it. Would be unique to keep it how it is. In fact I think it's gonna be good 😅
Ответитьomg you kinda look like a turkish actor “Ali Atay” go check ;)
ОтветитьWell, how about some Greek politics? In Thessaloniki there is a metro line that was opened but never built...
Ответитьcould you also do unopened bridges and pieces of highways? TNX
ОтветитьTo be fair Floria is so low to sea level it’d be super expensive for a metro there.
ОтветитьI just found out (and when I say I just found out I mean yesterday) that Sud has been renamed Gare Centrale and has been rebuilt and I also think that the refurbished trams we saw at the end have entered service. I also descovered that Chet will be renamed to Yernaux, after the nearby Yernaux stadium. (Credits go wikipedia for the information of the new name).
ОтветитьThere is a reason why French constantly make fun of the Belgians, and is because things like this are a constant occurence.
Ответитьhere in Belgrade (Serbia) we didnt built a metro but we sold tickets to for it, who is more bizzare here
ОтветитьAprès avoir vécu en Belgique pendant un an, je suis devenu fan de tes vidéos et surtout celle ci. Well researched, well done!
ОтветитьSo there was more to Brexit than we realised. And who decided to put the European Parliament in Brussels? See where this is going. The mind boggles.
ОтветитьIt's a GTA game and you haven't unlocked it yet
