Depop people are too picky. Poshmark is 10x better

I’d also add to join Depop Reddit, if you’re just starting. Good info, sellers help each other out, & ppl are always answering ?’s over there. By far THE best Depop tips video! I’ve watched a few bc I do pretty well on Depop but I am always open to new info from real top sellers. The pricing part is so true, and I can’t agree more with what you said at the end. There are so many vids on YT giving horrible advice.

I have Depop about 2 years & never sell any item😳 just 1000....likes..One time somebody make me offer I excepted it,but after silence 🤔🧐😳I don’t know what kind of platform is it.And also if you not visit this site they send you massage we gonna put on hold all your items.I sensed a lot of offers nobody never answer🙀😳☹️

The reason we have white backgrounds is because of Google search. Google search requires a white background. Go to any google search for clothing and they all have white backgrounds.

So on every other platform people use photo room to remove the background and keep the background white because it makes it a nice clean picture and because statics show that googles algorithm chooses photos with plain white backgrounds over any other kind of background. So like on Poshmark, eBay, mercari etc sellers want a clear crisp background. So it’s pretty normal and not actually scammy. But I’m very happy to learn I can use fun backgrounds because I don’t like a plain white background cause it is boring. I’m new to Depop and I only have 8 items listed but I’ll be editing the photos with non boring backgrounds thanks for all this great honest info!
