Is Boudica Prime's Expertise USELESS in Rise of Kingdoms?

Would Boudica still be primary at 5551 with max Zhuge, or would you flip it. Only other arch I have is max ysg to pair do I can’t spilt. Mehmed double but don’t think so

Thanks for the vid. Good food for thought. My perception is that Hot Boudica is very much worth the expertise. Your data seems to have an influence of confirmation bias. Your data does seem fine but it fails to account for what she excels at doing, which is field fighting in a ball.

The difference is a pretty big reveal. Still think some will feel there is enough value in expertising her but the priority for expertising her might drop.

i am an old archer player, finally got 5 archer marches full expertized (dreams come true) and sadly you right, Boudi/ZL is best skill dmg archer pairing atm, but their passive skills overslap each other, so silence dispeled on this pairing is redundant. I used to pair Boudi with Artemisia, but this pairing is a damn roulette, i mean, when Artemisia doesnt silence herself, skill dmg is low (in open field fights are quick and sometimes, if you are lucky, you can shoot only 1 active skill attack, so 50% auto silence is very low ratio). You can make a 1v1 Boudi/Arte vs Nev/Joan and Boudi will lose almost everytime. In conclusion, if you already have artemisia maxed, pair her with boudi and ZL can go with YSG, otherwise, Boudi/ZL is way better 5551 and save heads for other troop marches.

Boudica expertise is very good. The expertise itself is fine, but when her kit is maxed out, it gives a lot of stats.

Test Nevsky/William vs Nevsky/Joana in simulator plsss, i guarantee the result will surprise you.

The big question is will the game introduce new control effects in the future, or this was just to kill Guan?

I dont regret maxing boudica on both my accounts. Still one of the most encountered field marches in kvk is guan scipi guan alex or guan leo. And anything with guan she shreds 🤷‍♂️.

Also I'm not using boudica and zl together. I split them so I have 2 marches that ignore silence

You have already mentioned it yourself. At the end of a fight with a clear victory, the differences in the results of the fight become disproportionately worse/better. For that, you stopped the fight earlier. I think the better solution would be to increase the troop capacity inthe test to, say, 500k. Sure the test takes longer, but it is so in my opinion also more meaningful.

You should not only consider the decrease of Boudica's sev wounds, but also take into account that you are dealing more sevs to the opponent. This would reflect better the trades scenario

Add that the tiny increments in the 4th skill come at that enormous cost in heads. Its a no no unless you want to buy everything.

would you never recommend expertising Henry? If boud is any indication, it seems henry is even worse, value-wise, for expertising. So, what? 5515? for henry? thx. OR perhaps even 5511? ? wow! Are you saying 5511 Henry can be nearly as good value as 5515 and 5555 expertise? Could that be true?

I wonder how many other comms are the same way in terms of expertise vs 55x5. For example, the expertise on Henry now seems totally very expensive. AND on top of that, unlike boud where you get the 4th skill, a 5515 henry does not gain an extra step-wise gain going to 5555 expertise. Henry's expertise, thusly, seems even more of a minor gain, and not worthwhile.

I already know this is clickbait because 10% archer damage would NEVER be considered useless. You're telling me 4% more sevs for them AND 4% less sevs for you (8% total swing), 35% more units remaining (compounds into the next fight, and the next fight,, etc...), and saving about 4 seconds per minute of fighting is nothing?

Open field isn't 1v1. You are getting hit by guan silences among other control effects nonstop during murder balls making your results entirely irrelevant. That being said Zhuge Liang is definitely the priority still. I stopped watching after the first 3 minutes so apologies if you mentioned that later.

I hear people say 5511 Zhuge is better than max YSG. So if I were to make my Archer march, would I do Boudicca 5551/ Zhuge 5511 OR Boudicca 5551/ max YSG ?

Obviously, a maxed commander will ALWAYS be better than a 5551, 5515 or 5155. I guess people didn't get the point of the video: is the improvement worthy +300gh while you could start investing in sth else (ex.: ZL)?

If u run 2 archer marches (henry zhugeliang / boudica ysg) then it worth maxing her

i have a 5551 nevsky should i expertise him or work on a secondary commander for him should i invest in joan or save sculptures for new cav commander

I will not say boudica is the first commander that should be expertised. But if you’re running an archer pair it should be boudica/zhuge and boudica should be expertised. Sim doesn’t show battlefield results rather duel results. I prefer using actual tests in game that are actual proof

The other thing is that if you do use the other formations, you can get inscriptions that basically give Zhuge's skill to any commander, as inscriptions can prevent debuffs and do an aoe. Honestly I think armaments are the most broken thing in the entire game. Cause if you do get lucky and get some of the best legendary perfect stat double inscriptions ones your march is miles better then others and they can't actually do anything about it. Like there is no way to "catch up" no matter how much money you throw at your screen. A perfect inscription march will always win.

Very useful information. In particular, I have both BoudicaP and Zuge at 5551 and have to pick one to max; seems like Zuge is the way to go clearly and to let Boudica support and be happy at 5551.

You made some good points as well in the end, with murderball and other scenarios where other Guans hitting Boudica with AOE. Hate to add another thing to test in simulation on top of what you already to, but this may be something that can provide more insight into the question:
1) Fight Boudica Zhuge with Guan Scipio, but with maybe half or 2/3 the army size (to somewhat simulate being hit by more than just the other army)
2) If the simulator provides the info, see how much regular attack and skill attack damage is done by Bouda Zhuge at 5551 vs Expertised Boudica
3) Try the above with Boudica YSG

The split damage analysis helps to show the effectiveness of the expertise (also, counting the number of turns could indicate how long they can be in a fight before they have to refresh). And as you mention in response to people here, 5551 Boudica with Zhuge could be fine, but someone with multiple archer marches may suffer if they have to separate them and Boudica doesn’t have the expertise

this is a really good point especially if you arnt running with Artemisia.
I do think getting rid of the self silence is pretty good for that pairing but the account im running now only has her 5511 and Im not putting more sculptures into her.

There are only a few commanders that are a must expertise, Unless you are a big spender.
Running 3 or 4 marches with 5551 commanders is probably better value.

Simulator does not mimic multiple marches hitting you. And getting swarmed. Critisizing the skill without using them seems noobish.
Boudica expertised is one of the best gold head investments next to nevsky and joan
