Updating single / multiple columns using single of code in UiPath

Your code is really helpful.. but can you please explain how to add values in a row dynamically using a variable instead of a month or static string. I have tried to pass variables but it says inaccessible due to protection level even though that variable scope is accessible in that sequence.
