This has happened to me from both sides, meaning i was hit on, and another time my boyfriends were hit on in front of me. When i was hit on i straight forward said this is my partner, and we are together having a date. When it was the other way bf said nothing to that affect....i did ask bf to say something after # request happened. And commented to waitress that her behavior is inappropriate and rude. That golden rule applies 100% of the time. I let both of them know i would not be paying for anything especially this treatment. Everytime i broke up due to the point that they did not say anything or take any action steps, period, the end. I have never been married and would like to believe as a married couple both of our responses would be on a united front, and much sooner action steps.

Here's my take on a situation like this after 36yrs of marraige. I won't leave the situation for my wife to sort out. I will tell the waitress straight out ot back off or I call the manager, period.
