Windows 11 on Apple Silicon Macs w/ FREE VMware Player

Hello! everytime i try to start it up, it shows the error [Transport (VMDB) error -14: Pipe connection has been broken] is there any way to resolve this issue?

Can't i use Microsoft store with this method to download apps?

I got stuck at "install vmware tools"....it didn't install at first then i thought to restart the whole process again by deleting and downloading VMware but its starting from where i left....what should i do to start over?

The iso file no longer downloads into the download folder. At least, this happened to me, and when I followed your steps, it downloaded the entire VM within parallels.

I'm on sonoma 14.1. The only iso I can find is under parallels > windows 11.pvm > unattended.iso. Would this be it?

Is there any way to get Windows 10 instead of 11? I came to Mac due to legacy software not running on 11.

Parallels 18 broke it, and claimed to have fixed it in Parallels 19, but it's now missing altogether in v19 — and there is no actual support from Parallels (I've tried). Thank you!

When it is in VM it pop up 

"This virtual machine cannot be powered on because it requires the X86 machine architecture, which is incompatible with this Arm machine architecture host." See KB-84273.

just a note, this is against the WinARM EULA so would not recommend using in production for anything. WinArm has an exclusive license to run on snapdragon chips only.

Nice video. I've got just 1 issue; is not possible to install the VMware Tools run with Powershell. I've taken all the steps regarding PS, but rightclicking on the setupfile there is no run as Powershell option...

after installing VMware tools and then open dvd drive there isn't the powershell setup just "setup" and its missing all those files in the video. any suggestions new to Mac

If you can't find the iso file in your downloads folder then follow these steps:
1. Click on apple logo (Top right corner)
2. Click on About this Mac
3. Click More Info
4. Go to bottom of this About section and click Storage Settings
5. Click on i button of Documents Folder
6. Go to File Browser
7. Click Command+Shift+. at the same time. (This will open up hidden folders)
8 Now select Library>Parallels>Downloads.
9. Here you go, this folder contains the iso file of windows11.

VMware Tools will now install, along with the necessary VMXNet3 network drivers and SVGA display driver.

Hi, I am on the final stage of installing the ISO file on the VM but I am getting a prompt asking me to sign in. There is not an option to skip this. I don't see that you had to sign in. Did i do something wrong?
